A New York State Senator is attempting get an upcoming Donald Trump event at Madison Square Garden shut down, equating it to a Nazi rally.
Democrat Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal took to X to ‘expose’ that The Garden has agreed to host Trump on October 27.

He then declared that it is exactly like when Nazis held an event there in 1939.

Not quite though, is it.
The Senator then claimed that the Trump event will “incite violence” and demanded (his actual words) that the venue cancel it to “keep our city safe.”
This is a disastrous decision by Madison Square Garden that will endanger the public safety of New Yorkers and has the potential to incite widespread violence.
