Senator: Homeland Security Agents At Butler Trump Rally Only Received Two Hours Training
Senator Josh Hawley has shared shocking claims from a whistleblower within the Department of Homeland Security that most of the personnel assigned to protect Donald Trump at the July 13 rally where he was almost assassinated only received two hours online training.
Hawley detailed the claims in a letter to the acting Secret Service Director, noting that many agents had been reassigned to work protective detail for Trump.
“Whistleblower allegations to my office report that the only training received by many HSI agents reassigned to work protective details is a single two-hour webinar on Microsoft Teams featuring pre-recorded videos,” Hawley noted.
He continued, “These videos were not substantive and their playback was frequently riddled with technical mishaps leaving the HSI agents ill-prepared for the protective mission to which they were newly assigned.”
Hawley detailed the developments with Jesse Watters. He also noted that it was a local police countersniper, positioned on the ground, not on a rooftop, who initially neutralised the shooter, rather than the Secret Service, who then fired a kill shot.
As we previously highlighted, security was supposed to be stepped up owing to a known assassination plot traced to the the Iranian regime.
This latest information adds to the litany of security failures that have led many to suggest that the deep state wanted Trump to be vulnerable and exposed.
We KNOW it was an inside job. The Media STOPPED talking about this, so they wouldn’t get caught.
