Speculation Rages That Biden Pardoned Hunter to Protect Himself
People responded to President Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter Biden by speculating that Hunter had threatened to divulge sensitive information about his own father if his sentences were not commuted.
After repeatedly denying that he would pardon his son for gun and tax evasion convictions, Biden did a 180 and announced Hunter Biden would be pardoned.
“There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution,” Biden wrote in a statement.

The development comes after the Biden administration promised the public that he would *not* consider pardoning his own son.

“In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough,” he added.
However, as soon the news was announced, speculation raged as to what made Biden change his mind.
“Over Thanksgiving, Hunter told his father about a book he was writing that would go public with everything. Days later, his father signed a blanket pardon – per WH official,” claimed Jack Posobiec, who is close to Trump’s inner circle.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani echoed the sentiment, suggesting that Hunter Biden’s role in his father’s shady Ukraine deals was the main reason for the pardon.
“Biden,who will not even meet with his grand daughter Navy, didn’t pardon his son because he’s a good father. He did so because, as his son admits on the Hard Drive, for 30 years Hunter has given half the millions he’s collected to the Boss of the Crime Family- Joe Biden,” Giuliani posted on X.

Zero Hedge noted that Hunter’s pardon stretches all the way back to 2014, which just by coincidence is when he was appointed director of Ukraine’s Burisma.
