Trump Files Formal Complaint Of ‘Election Interference’ Against UK Labour Party
The Trump campaign has formally filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against the UK Labour Party after its Head of Operations openly planned to send more than 100 staff members to swing states to campaign for Kamala Harris.
As we highlighted last week, Labour’s Sofia Patel proudly announced her plan on LinkedIn, advertising that she has 10 spots left with free accommodation, before deleting the post after viral backlash.
The complaint points to Washington Post and Telegraph reports noting that Morgan McSweeney, the British Prime Minister’s now chief of staff, and Matthew Doyle, the Downing Street director of communications, met with Kamala Harris’s team at the Democratic convention in the summer.
“Ms. Patel’s posts and press reporting surrounding the relationship between the Harris
campaign and the Labour Party create a reasonable inference that the Labour Party has made, and the Harris campaign has accepted, illegal foreign national contributions,” the complaint charges.
It adds, “To protect our democracy from illegal foreign influence, it is imperative that the Federal Election Commission open a MUR, find reason to believe, and investigate this matter immediately.”
The Trump campaign issued a statement requesting an “immediate investigation into blatant foreign interference”.
Trump-Vance campaign co-manager Susie Wiles noted that “The Harris campaign’s acceptance and use of this illegal foreign assistance is just another feeble attempt in a long line of anti-American election interference.”

“In two weeks, Americans will once again reject the oppression of big government that we rejected in 1776,” Wiles further asserted in her statement, adding “The flailing Harris-Walz campaign is seeking foreign influence to boost its radical message – because they know they can’t win the American people.”
