Trump: RFK Jr Likely To Be Offered A Role In Administration

“He’s a brilliant guy”

President Trump stated Tuesday that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “probably would” be offered a role in his administration if he wins the election in November.

As we highlighted earlier, Kennedy is considering dropping out of the race and “joining forces” with Trump this week, according to Nicole Shanahan, the independent candidate’s vice presidential running mate.

RFK Considering Option to Throw Support Behind Trump

Kennedy is said to be angered by the Democratic Party’s continued efforts to disrupt his campaign.

“They have banned us, shadow-banned us, kept off stages, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state, they even planted insiders into our campaign,” Shanahan noted during a recent podcast.

A endorsement for Trump seems even more likely given the former President’s latest comments.

Trump told CNN’s Kristen Holmes during a campaign event in Michigan that he would “love” to receive Kennedy’s endorsement, adding that he would “certainly” be open to having Kennedy in his administration if the third-party candidate were to drop out.

“I like him a lot. I respect him a lot,” Trump said, adding “I probably would, if something like that would happen. He’s a very different kind of a guy — a very smart guy. And, yeah, I would be honored by that endorsement, certainly.”

“He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time,” the Republican presidential nominee said, adding “I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it.”

Kennedy is currently polling at around 5% nationally, and withdrawing from the race is likely to help Trump defeat Kamala Harris, particularly in swing states like Pennsylvania, with a recent poll showing Trump beating Kamala by 44% to 43% if RFK drops out.

Alex Jones claims that an anonymous source within RFK’s campaign has indicated he is interested in government positions including head of the EPA, head of the NIH, and attorney general, the same position that his father, Robert F. Kennedy, senior held.
