Trump Victory Speech: “We’re Going To Unlock America’s Glorious Destiny”
The now assured 47th President of The United States, Donald J. Trump delivered a victory speech early Wednesday morning after winning a landslide, promising Americans who overwhelmingly voted for him “I will not let you down.”
After taking Pennsylvania, Alaska, and Wisconsin relatively early, Trump stormed past the 270 electoral vote mark, and the celebrations began.
Trump is predicted to win at least 315 electoral votes as well as, historically, the popular vote when the counting is complete.
Trump said the victory signifies “the greatest political movement of all time” and promised his second term will usher in the “Golden Age of America.”
“We have taken back control of the Senate,” Trump also announced, adding “Together we’re going to unlock America’s glorious destiny and we’re going to achieve the most incredible future for our people.”
“It’s time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us, it is time to unite. And we’re going to try, we have to try, and we’re going to be successful at bringing us together… Success is going to bring us together, and we are going to start by putting America first,” Trump urged.
“We can truly make America great again for all Americans. I will not let you down, America’s future will be bigger, bolder, richer, safer, and stronger than ever before,” he vowed.
Trump added that “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason and that reason was to save out country and to restore America to greatness and now we are going to fulfil that mission together.”
Trump addressed “every citizen,” asserting “I will fight for you, for your family and your future. Every single day, I will be fighting for you. And with every breath in my body, I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve.”
“This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again,” Trump concluded.
