Watch: Massive BLM Mural Jackhammered Into Oblivion
A huge Black Lives Matter dawbing on 16th Street in Washington DC is finally being removed after more than four years.
The massive 35-foot-tall letters bright yellow lettering is being jackhammered off the street and painted over after DC Mayor Muriel Bowser ordered it removed as a way of ‘easing tensions’ with the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress.

Good!
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is removing it to “ease tensions” with the Trump admin and Congress which is threatening to take over control of the city. pic.twitter.com/rRAJgOCQLG
Since 2020 it has cost cost taxpayers over $4 million to install and maintain. The removal will cost a further estimated $610,000 and is expected to take up to eight weeks.

The BLM dawbing will be replaced with murals honoring the nation’s 250th birthday next year.
The development comes after Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde introduced a bill threatening to withhold millions in federal funding from D.C. unless the lettering was removed and the plaza, which had been renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza, be changed back to “Liberty Plaza.”

Bowser skirted around the real reason it is being removed, posting on X “The mural inspired millions of people and helped our city through a painful period, but now we can’t afford to be distracted by meaningless congressional interference. The devastating impacts of the federal job cuts must be our number one concern.”

“It wouldn’t have happened without the pressure,” Clyde commented Monday, adding “I mean, we are trying to make a more efficient government, and President Trump is pushing the message that this is the golden era of America. You can’t have a message of ‘Black Lives Matter’ painted on 40-foot letters across multiple blocks of Washington, DC.
“That is a divisive message. The golden era of America is not divisive in nature,” the Congressman further urged.

Good. BLM people were thieves and crooks. They used that money to buy Mansions in CA.
