The CEO of Tesla said on Sunday, Oct. 27, that he is frequently asked if aliens are among us, and his answer is always, "I haven't seen any!" Musk said he hasn't seen any green men with antennae on their heads, but it is likely they are just "very subtle," before jokingly telling people that the government might need to develop an "alien registration card."
The owner of X, who spoke at a town hall event in Pennsylvania, stated that whether or not this was true, humans should become "the aliens exploring other galaxies."
His company SpaceX has been collaborating with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and recently helped bring astronauts back from the International Space Station, so Musk has more knowledge than most of what may or not be out there. Elon Musk not always optimistic about probability of discovering alien life
Earlier this year, Musk expressed how he was less enthusiastic about the probability of discovering alien life, stating that he had not witnessed any evidence of aliens on Earth, and his Starlink satellites had never encountered a UFO.
"For some reason, a lot of the same people who think there are aliens among us don't think we went to the moon, which, I'm like: 'Think about that for a second,'" Musk said at the Milken Institute Global Conference in May.
Musk said that he has great expectations for mankind's future understanding of the universe, believing humanity can "make life multi-planetary."
"We just want to make this glorious, amazing space future real and have amazing, inspiring things that when you wake up in the morning, you're happy to be alive," said Musk, who also spoke about his childhood love of Star Trek and Star Wars.
The SpaceX CEO confirmed he plans to send the first starship rockets to Mars by 2026, when planetary arrangements make it possible.
Musk is also endorsing the theory that unidentified flying objects or UFOs are a "new weapons program hidden within the U.S. government's vast black budget."
The Tesla CEO said in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson that he believes "we are the aliens" because "he has never seen extraterrestrial life" in his time running SpaceX.
"Unidentified flying objects are one thing, but there's always a bunch of classified programs that are underway: new aircraft, new missiles and things," Musk said.
The SpaceX founder also promised to be "the first person" to expose extraterrestrial life. Musk said he would post on X whatever he finds at the very moment he discovers it.
"I would guarantee that the split-second I see any evidence of aliens, I will immediately post that on the X platform. It will probably be our number one post of all time," Musk told Carlson on his show.
