Zionist supporters of Israeli soccer team started the riots in Amsterdam, viral video reveals

A video posted on YouTube that later went viral reveals that Zionist supporters of the Israeli soccer team Maccabi Tel Aviv (MTA) instigated the riots in Amsterdam and even attacked law enforcement.

The video posted Nov. 8 by a 16-year-old who went by the moniker "Bender" captured the MTA hooligans engaged in violence. A day before the video was posted, supporters of the Israeli team engaged in clashes with supporters of the local AFC Ajax team. MTA and Ajax also faced off on the pitch on Nov. 7.

The Grayzone reported that the MTA hooligans chanted in support of the genocide of Palestinian children, tore Palestinian flags from private Dutch homes and burned them. Unsatisfied with the chaos they caused, the Israelis destroyed a taxi cab driven by a Muslim driver and attacked any local resident displaying their support for Palestine. "MTA hooligans carry a reputation for assaulting leftists and Palestinian citizens in their own country. Following an MTA match in Athens, Greece this March, the club's ultras surrounded a lone Egyptian man and brutalized him so badly he was hospitalized," the independent outlet continued. "Indeed, many of the MTA ultras were confirmed as reservists in the Israeli military who had participated in the assault on the besieged Gaza strip. They were escorted to Amsterdam by agents from Israel's Mossad."

According to Bender, the Israelis operated like a military unit on a mission inside a hostile city – mirroring their background as Israel Defense Forces reservists.

"The funny thing is, in contrast to the Ajax hooligans, these [Israelis] stick together. A very compact group. They are not separating," he commented. "They have some mean dudes. Most of those Israelis have been in the military, so they can be strong and know their tactics."

Many MTA hooligans have military experience

Several victims of the MTA hooligans shared their experiences with the Dutch journalist and YouTuber Left Laser. Yuval Gal, a member of Erev Rav, a Dutch Jewish anti-Zionist collective, remarked that these hooligans "already have a reputation" for violence and "stand out" even in their home country.

"We know many of them are soldiers and ex-soldiers in Gaza right now," he explained. "I also tried to explain this to the police. I said, 'Look, if somebody just came back from Gaza and just came back from killing a lot of people, you don't expect them to act normally in your city.'"

Several Dutch citizens also told Left Laser that MTA hooligans assaulted them on Nov. 6, before the Israeli team's match with Ajax.

"Every time somebody with a Palestinian symbol walked by, they did something pretty violent," one local said. "Middle fingers, also physical violence."

Another Dutch citizen recounted his assault by the Israeli soccer fans, who spit on him and doused him with beer.

"I don't like aggressiveness in my city," he remarked. "Amsterdam has always been a tolerant city toward others. But when a group so aggressively comes in, it made me not feel at home anymore."

Even Bender was not spared from the wrath of the MTA hooligans, with the thugs expressing their disdain toward his presence. The video managed to record the Israelis giving him the middle finger while hurling rocks at his cameraman.

At one point, multiple Israeli thugs approached the teen and his colleague. They demanded that "he put away the camera," with Bender telling them that he and his cameraman were members of the media. The Israeli thugs then ordered them to "stop … for [their own] safety."

The Grayzone lauded the 16-year-old's "journalistic acumen" and compared it to the mainstream media's parroting of "Israeli government propaganda." Corporate media painted the MTA ultras as "innocent Jews assaulted by antisemitic Muslims," which Bender essentially disproved in his report.
