A new Democrat ad features a young man masturbating, only to be interrupted by a Republican Congressman who warns him that Republicans are going to ban masturbation across America.
The ad begins with a young man masturbating to internet pornography on his cellphone, in bed. An old man in a suit and red tie snatches his phone and barks at him, “Sorry, you can’t do that.”

Infowars.com reports: “What the hell, man!? How did you get in here?” the young man whimpers.
“I’m your Republican congressman. Now that we’re in charge, we’re banning porn nationwide.”
“You can’t tell me what to do! Get out of my bedroom, you creep!”
“I won the last election, so it’s my decision. I’m just going to watch and make sure you don’t finish—illegally.”
The ad, called “Republicans rubbing you the wrong way,” was produced by the Progress Action Fund and Defend the vote, and is said to have cost $2.5 million. It’s being aired on streaming services in seven swing states.
Responses to the ad on social media combined disgust and bafflement.
“Well that’s what you’d expect from Kamala’s campaign. Complete depravity,” wrote one Twitter user.
“They can’t stop screwing this up. It’s like they’re intentionally sabotaging KamalaHQ’s chances. Makes me smile,” Tweeted another.
The target of the ad is almost certainly Project 2025, which has become something of a boogeyman for the Harris-Walz campaign, despite Donald Trump distancing himself from the project.
The 920-page Project 2025 plan, put forward by the Heritage Foundation think tank, includes a proposal to ban pornography, send producers and distributors to prison and close tech companies that circulate it.
The manifesto reads: “Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection. Its purveyors are child predators and misogynistic exploiters of women. Their product is as addictive as any illicit drug and as psychologically destructive as any crime. Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that facilitate its spread should be shuttered.”
Prior to 2016, Donald Trump pledged to crack down on internet pornography and establish a commission to investigate the “harmful public health impact of Internet pornography on youth, families and the American culture.”
Less than 40% of Americans believe internet pornography is “morally acceptable,” according to one survey.
