Iranian intelligence claims it thwarted an Israeli false-flag terror plot targeting American citizens on U.S. soil, designed to spark a full-scale war between Washington and Tehran.
According to the Tehran Times, the plot involved detonating an explosive inside the United States and framing Iran through planted evidence, with the goal of manipulating American public opinion and dragging the U.S. military into another Middle East conflict on Israel’s behalf.
Iranian officials say they were tipped off by a “friendly nation” and immediately alerted U.S. authorities. The warning, they claim, helped stop the attack before it could happen. “The explosion was prevented,” one source stated, adding that Tehran’s intelligence services relayed urgent messages directly to high-level American contacts.

For years, independent analysts have warned that Israel has a history of resorting to false-flag tactics to provoke U.S. military action against Iran. These fears centered on potential attacks against American assets in the Middle East—or even on U.S. soil. If Tehran’s claim is accurate, this would mark the most blatant example of such a strategy yet.
Iran hasn’t revealed where or when the attack was supposed to occur, nor has it named the ally who tipped them off. But officials describe the scheme as a “major provocation” that could have triggered a regional and possibly global war.
So far, U.S. intelligence agencies have remained silent, and mainstream Western media outlets have barely acknowledged the report.
