Luigi Mangione’s pre-trial judge is married to a former executive at Pfizer, according to a shocking report that raises serious questions about potential conflicts of interest.
Magistrate Judge Katharine H. Parker, who has handled Mangione’s pre-trial hearings, is married to Bret Parker, who was a high-level Pfizer executive until 2010.
According to reporting by Ken Klippenstein, the judge holds significant investments in Big Pharma, with millions of dollars tied to the industry.

Her portfolio includes between $50,000 and $100,000 in Pfizer stock, along with holdings in other healthcare giants such as Abbott Laboratories, Viatris, and CRISPR Therapeutics.
Additionally, her husband continues to receive a pension from his former employer, raising further questions about potential conflicts of interest.
Parker also has holdings in Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla and Apple, amongst others.
“United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart,” Mangione’s alleged manifesto read.
“The reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has [allowed] them to get away with it.”
Parker is not expected to handle Mangione’s trial for the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
