Who has really been running the country over the last four years?
House Speaker Mike Johnson has raised concerns about who has really been in charge at the White House.
According to Johnson, Joe Biden wasn’t aware that he had signed an important executive order pausing liquid natural gas exports to Europe.

He claimed that during a conversation with the president last year, Biden had insisted that he never issued an order to freeze new liquid natural gas export permits, despite having signed the order a few weeks earlier.
He added that he believed Biden “genuinely didn’t know what he had signed”
InfoWars reports: In an interview with The Free Press on Friday, Johnson explained he had the revelation Biden hadn’t been in charge for awhile when, in private meeting with the puppet president in January 2024, Biden admitted he didn’t know he had signed the EO several weeks earlier.
“He’s in the twilight years of his life. He obviously has not been in charge for some time, and I know this by personal observation and now the whole world knows it, and it’s been very concerning to me over the last year and half since I’ve been Speaker,” Johnson told journalist Bari Weiss.
Johnson explained he had sought a meeting with Biden after becoming House Speaker, but his handlers wouldn’t let him, and only relented after Johnson informed the press he was being blocked from seeing Biden.
“They wouldn’t let me meet with him. And his staff kept giving me excuses, this went on for like 8 or 9 weeks,” he said.
“We had some big national concerns at the time that I was losing sleep over. Finally, I just went to the Hill press corps and said the president is not being allowed to meet with the Speaker. There’s a problem. So they started putting pressure on him.”
Once he was finally told he could meet with Biden, Johnson said he was first “ambushed” by top Democrat leaders, including VP Kamala Harris, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.).
But once Johnson was granted his face-to-face with Biden, the Speaker quickly realized the puppet president wasn’t in the loop after asking about his EO pertaining to LNG exports to Europe.
“‘Sir, why did you pause LNG exports to Europe? Liquefied natural gas is in great demand by our allies. Why would you do that?’” Johnson recalled asking Biden.
Biden, according to Johnson, was “stunned” and said, “I didn’t do that.”
“He was not lying to me. He genuinely didn’t know what he had signed,” Johnson said. “And I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, ‘We are in serious trouble—who is running the country?’ Like, I don’t know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know.”
The EO signed by Biden in January 2024 announced “a temporary pause on pending decisions on exports of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to non-FTA countries” in the name climate change, claiming the Department of Energy needed to study LNG’s impact on greenhouse gas emissions.
In July 2024, a federal judge halted Biden’s pause on LNG exports, calling it the EO “completely without reason or logic” and said the Department of Energy’s actions were “above and beyond its scope of authority.”
