Official Data: Singapore’s Excess Death Rate Surged 50% Following COVID Vaccine Rollout

Singapore experienced a sharp and sustained rise in excess mortality immediately following the COVID vaccine rollout, according to bombshell data from the Human Mortality Database and peer-reviewed studies.

The Human Mortality Database (HMD) compiles official mortality and population data from national statistical offices, using standardized methods to ensure comparability across countries and over time.

In Singapore, the data lays bare the consequences of the government’s aggressive COVID vaccine campaign—driven by strict mandates, punitive restrictions on the unvaccinated, and relentless messaging aimed at achieving near-total compliance.

Excess mortality peaked at an astonishing 49.9% above expected deaths in March 2022, with a broader average of 24.0% during Feb–Apr 2022.

As of December 2024, the most recent available data shows excess deaths in Singapore stabilizing at approximately 25% above the historical baseline—indicating that elevated mortality may have become the fully vaccinated country’s new normal.

Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) acknowledged increased mortality from January 2020–June 2022, with around 2,490 “excess deaths” per 100,000 person-years.

However, the MOH refused to acknowledge the elephant in the room, instead claiming that “excess deaths could be accounted for by deaths directly due to COVID‑19, or due to underlying medical conditions which were made worse by COVID‑19 infections.”

The MOH has not explained why excess deaths skyrocketed in 2021 compared to 2020 – following the vaccine roll out.

If the cause of the excess deaths was the virus itself, the death rate would have surged in 2020, when the virus was circulating in society, rather than in 2021, when the vaccine was supposedly offering protection.

Jail Time For Vaccine Refusers

While the government continues to cover up the true cost of the roll out, critics argue the persistent excess mortality suggests the pandemic’s effects remain far from over, and the “new normal” may represent a hidden public health toll.

Following Bill Gates’ visit in early May, the government passed new amendments to Singapore’s Infectious Diseases Act (IDA), the government can force vaccinate citizens whenever they declare it necessary for public health, and citizens who decline government-ordered vaccinations can now face jail time.
