A new poll conducted last week found that over a third of Democrat voters agreed with the statement “I wish Trump’s assassin hadn’t missed.”

The survey was conducted by news outlet UnHerd, which found that those who wished Trump had been killed hold radical far left opinions.

Modernity.news reports: Writer Eric Kaufman notes that “Support for the statement hardly varies by age, race or education, but is connected to ideology and partisanship.”

Kaufman further notes that “When I asked whether respondents agreed with the statement ‘White Republicans are racist’, 55% agreed and only 20% disagreed.”

He continues, “But particularly interesting, as illustrated below, is how tightly people’s answer to this question predicts whether they support Trump’s assassination. In a statistical model controlling for various demographic characteristics, ideology and partisanship, this question came out as so statistically significant it relegated all other variables to irrelevance.”

As we previously highlighted, a third of Biden voters also believe that the assassination attempt was staged by Trump himself, despite the fact that a bullet was photographed flying millimeters from his head, and bystanders were injured and killed.

In his first rally appearance since the attempt on his life, Trump noted that while his opponents are continuing to call him a threat to Democracy, he literally took a bullet for it.
