Secret Service Director Refuses To Deny ‘Multiple Shooters’ Involved in Trump Assassination Attempt

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has refused to confirm or deny that alleged shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was working alone during the Donald Trump assassination attempt in Butler Park, Pennsylvania.

Chealte testified before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Monday to face questions about the astonishing “security lapses” that allowed a gunman to open fire on former President Trump.

The Secret Service director shocked those in attendance when she refused to confirm the official narrative that Crooks was a “lone gunman” operating without assistance.

Cheatle is facing calls to resign or be fired, largely from Republicans, but has so declared she is not going anywhere. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) was the first Democrat on the committee to call for her resignation on Monday.

Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) and ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) issued a joint letter last week urging Cheatle to appear “without delay.”

Americans have many serious questions about the historic security failures that occurred at the campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania,” they wrote.

While many questions remain about the shooting and Secret Service actions that day, a number of revelations over the past week have increased the heat on Cheatle ahead of today’s hearing.

Sen. Ron Johnson has accused the Secret Service and FBI of covering up the truth about the Trump assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, declaring that ballistics evidence suggests there were “multiple shooters” engaged in a coordinated attack on the former president.

Appearing on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, the Republican senator said, “Was it one rifle? Was it more than one? I’ve seen some pretty interesting video on the internet by experts that does certainly call into question what the FBI is telling us about a single shooter.”

Sen. Johnson was referring to audio forensics information which went viral on X this week following the shooting.

The audio forensics report also confirms there were likely three weapons fired at the Trump rally. The first three shots were consistent with alleged weapon A, the next five were consistent with alleged weapon B, and the final “acoustic impulse” was emitted by a possible weapon C.

All of the evidence points to the event being an inside job by government and security agencies rather than the work of a 20-year-old lone wolf who was rejected from his high school rifle club because he couldn’t hit a target from a distance of 50 yards.

A bombshell admission by the Secret Service spokesman Monday revealed Trump’s permanent detail were stood down for the Butler, Pennsylvania rally on Saturday and replaced with temporary agents.
