The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg firmly claims that President Biden “wasn’t lying” when he made it crystal clear, on many occasions, he would not pardon or commute the sentence of his son, Hunter, under any circumstances.
Goldberg was speaking on Monday in the aftermath of Biden’s momentous flip-flip, in which he announced a pardon for Hunter who was due to be sentenced on December 12 on multiple federal charges.
The View co-host has revealed she is in a cult where the leaders can never be wrong and cannot tell a lie.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she understands why a father would want to pardon his son, but questioned why Joe repeatedly lied for years when vowing he would never issue a pardon for Hunter.
“I respect it as a parent, I understand why he would do it, but I wanted to understand, why lie about it for so long?” Griffin asked before being cut off by Goldberg.
“I would stop calling it a lie,” Whoopi said.
Griffin continued, “Okay. Why repeatedly say you’re not going to and you do?”
When asked what precedent Biden set by pardoning his child, Goldberg shifted her focus to Donald Trump and claimed he is somehow acting as if he’s above the law.
Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter late on Sunday night, an embarrassing reversal for the president who repeatedly said he would not under any circumstances use his executive authority to pardon his son or commute his sentence.
“I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice — and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision,” Biden said in his statement.
Hunter Biden was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 12 for his conviction on federal gun charges. He also was set to be sentenced Dec. 16 in a separate criminal case in which he pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion charges in September.
