‘Can you believe that it has only been a few months since the inauguration? And Trump’s got all 4 years to keep doing great things for our country! If this pace keeps up, I have no doubt that we’ll be past the storm, all of humanity will finally be on the same page, and we can all roll up our sleeves and get to work on building the world we really want. Lovely blog readers, thank you for sharing your personal experiences of heart palpitations. I am sure I am not alone in feeling much reassured. I am in good company…!

I will end with a little observation from my trip driving into town today. There was an elderly man sitting on a park bench in the sunshine. I noticed the cell phone in his hand. Twenty years ago, he would have been sitting on a park bench in the sunshine – enjoying the sunshine. 

It is sad how many people cannot go anywhere without their cellphone or ear buds. I estimate that 60-70% of the people I see on my daily walk on a path beside the sea – stunning scenery – are wearing ear buds. 

I spent five hours in town today, including socializing with friends. My two friends and I had a lovely chat – no cellphones in sight. I left my phone at home which I do all the time. I love being fully present in the moment.
