Nala Ray, a former nine million dollar earner on the pornography-streaming site OnlyFans, told Daily Wire host Michael Knowles that she has found God and has departed from the industry.
Ray detailed her upbringing with Knowles during their interview that aired on Saturday, sharing that she is a daughter of a pastor. She also explained how she entered into pornography, in addition to the pivotal moment that led her to leave it all behind.
The interview, which is over 2 hours long, has sparked mixed reactions online.

“I love the human body, I think it’s artwork,” Ray explained. “When I started this journey on OnlyFans, I was very pro — like — nudity. Because I love the human body, I think we’re beautiful, truly. I have a different form of that love now, for — it’s more I love what God created instead of just nudity.”
“What do you see as the distinction?” Knowles asked.
“Perversion,” Nala immediately responded.
Nala expressed that what ultimately led her to embrace Christ was the sense of numbness she experienced, prompting her to believe there must be something more.
“It was hard for me to experience emotions,” Ray explained. “I didn't feel sadness; I felt like I had never cried. I could become angry, and my temper was perhaps more intense than it should have been, but crying was uncommon for me. I lacked emotional depth; I felt numb to things.”
Ray emphasized that those experiences “shaped” her and led her to her current state, acknowledging shame for her past involvement in pornography, but also that she “wouldn’t take it back.”
“I feel like my testimony is very strong now,” she explained.
“If you were a young girl thinking about starting an OnlyFans and being influenced by this current generation to start an OnlyFans, would you listen to the person that’s never been on OnlyFans or never had any direct connection to it saying, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it,’ or would you listen to the person at the top of the hill who’s saying, ‘There’s a cliff after this’?” she continued.
Ray first came into the spotlight during an appearance on the “Whatever” podcast 10 months ago where she discussed various topics including cheating and competing against alpha males.
Users on X criticized the interview between Ray and Knowles, dubbing it a “grift” for Christians. Most of their arguments stemmed from the seemingly polar opposite persona in such a short amount of time.
“I believe this woman stopped doing porn less than a month ago and is already being platformed by Daily Wire,” wrote one user.
“We don’t know her personal life or what her relationship with God is like,” wrote another. “I’m praying for her as she continues to transform her life & follow Jesus & share her story.”
Others took issue with Knowles calling Ray the “prodigal daughter” in the interview’s title.
“If she was actually serious about her conversion she wouldn't be doing it publicly like this. Her OnlyFans grift has ended and now she's moved on to milking Christians,” lamented another user. “Of course daily wire is platforming her because no one knows how to grift off of Christian cons like them.”
The Art of Purpose shared his take on X, writing, “If she’s genuine – good for her on finding God … If she’s faking – she will eventually psyop herself into becoming a Christian.”
“Either way this is a good thing,” he added.
