A woman is claiming that she was recently visited by the FBI concerning a post she made on X, in which she identifies a man as the murderer of her sister.
A social media user with the display name “Kam St.Martin” on X posted a short video, in which a man identifying as a special agent interacts with a man, asking about the post.
“The FBI came to my house over a TWEET!” Kam wrote. “Not cool.”
The offending post, she claimed, was one which she had made on February 20th and kept pinned to her profile. The post features an image of a man and identifies him as having drugged and murdered Kam's sister.
“This monster drugged my 27 yr old cousin at the L’Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge last February. He dumped her half naked dead body like trash. Rap sheet a mile long. He walks today on PROBATI. Damion Matthews may you reap what you have sown,” Kam wrote.
This post even caught the attention of Elon Musk, who responded on February 21st with only an exclamation mark.
Kam elaborated in replies that the agent claimed the visit was in response to a threat on the life of a judge, noting that the judge was not mentioned in her original post and speculating about the potential ulterior motives behind the visit.
“He said a threat came into the FBI on judges lives. You can see I never mentioned a judge. 8.3 million views and thousands of comments. I honestly don’t believe his story. I think the DA in Baton Rouge got butthurt.”
This story has numerous parallels with another recent incident in which an individual was questioned by men claiming to be FBI agents about social media posts, sparking a discourse about the dangers of politically motivated entrapment by law enforcement agencies.
