The city of Pune is facing heavy rainfall that has caused waterlogging in several areas, prompting alerts for the next three hours. The weather department has predicted rainfall in different regions of Maharashtra, and the India Meteorological Department has issued red and orange alerts for various districts in the Konkan and Ghats regions due to expected heavy rainfall.

Shivajinagar has seen the highest rainfall with 67.4 mm, followed by Pashan with 56.8 mm. The heavy downpour has resulted in floods and traffic congestion in some parts of the city. This is only the pre-monsoon period, and rainfall in urban areas is expected to continue, along with suggested actions to minimize risks.
