Bannon & Solomon Warn of Foreign Election Meddling and Mounting Iran Tensions Under Trump’s Watch

In a high-stakes Tuesday WarRoom segment, Steve Bannon and investigative journalist John Solomon delivered a blunt briefing on two explosive fronts: Iran’s nuclear escalation and new revelations of Chinese interference in the 2020 election—all under the leadership of President Trump, who now faces critical geopolitical and domestic decisions.

On Iran, Bannon pressed Solomon for intelligence updates amid growing pressure on Trump to intervene militarily. Solomon revealed that U.S. intelligence recently confirmed Iran is just days away from having enough fissile material for a nuclear bomb, though not yet the bomb itself. This proximity has accelerated Israeli airstrikes, now deploying multiple bunker-busting bombs to destroy Iran’s underground facilities. According to Solomon, Israel currently has full air superiority and doesn’t need U.S. offensive involvement—though Trump may be forced to act if American forces or assets are attacked.

The situation, Solomon noted, has potentially shifted from mere nuclear containment to regime change. Israel’s dominance in the skies and Iran’s internal instability—rife with economic hardship and mass protests—may tempt Israeli leadership to "finish the job” and collapse the mullah regime. Bannon emphasized this could lead to a diplomatic resolution—but only after Iran’s nuclear threat is physically crushed.

The conversation pivoted into even more jaw-dropping territory as Bannon praised Solomon for breaking major revelations about foreign interference in the 2020 election. Solomon detailed a newly released intelligence memo, delivered by Kash Patel to Senator Chuck Grassley, confirming that China engaged in a covert operation to sway the election for Joe Biden.

According to the memo, the FBI received intel in August 2020—three months before the election—about a Chinese plan to produce fake U.S. driver’s licenses, infiltrate the country, and exploit mail-in voting systems. Border agents later intercepted 20,000 fake IDs, corroborating the report. Shockingly, this intelligence was pulled back shortly after being shared with agencies, citing the need to "re-interview” the source. The second interview upheld the original claims, but the Biden administration and FBI allegedly suppressed the findings.

Bannon erupted: "This was a bald-faced lie. They covered it up. They called us nutcases, conspiracy theorists—and we were right the whole time.”

Solomon added that this foreign election interference was explicitly targeted at mail-in voting, which China viewed as America’s soft underbelly during COVID. He warned that vulnerabilities remain open for future exploitation unless states continue tightening ballot security.

The takeaway? Under Trump’s current presidency, his administration must grapple with the immediate threat of a nuclear-armed Iran and the long-lasting damage of foreign election interference. The window for decisive action is narrow—and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
