Becoming an Advocate:

If you think the left are going to give you your country back without a fight, you are sadly mistaken. Every day – every day, it is going to be a fight. – Stephen K. Bannon

In today’s climate, being an advocate isn’t just about speaking up—it’s about showing up, organizing, and holding the line for the future of our communities and country. As members of the Posse, you already carry the spirit for what matters. Now, let’s talk about what it truly means to be an advocate and how to encourage each other to take that next step.

1. Know Your Purpose and Believe in It

Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire. – St. Catherine of Siena

Before you can inspire others, you have to find your own "why.” What drives you? Whether it’s defending freedom, protecting families, or preserving the principles that built this nation, anchoring yourself in that purpose is essential. When you speak from a place of conviction, people will naturally be drawn to your message. That core belief will fuel your advocacy and give you the resilience to face setbacks with strength.

2. Get Informed and Share Knowledge

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. – John Quincy Adams

Being part of WarRoom means the Posse can dig deeper, understand the facts, and confidently share crucial information. Jody Steffen embodies this commitment; initially frustrated as a California resident, she channeled that energy into volunteering for Arizona campaigns, showing how grassroots activism can transform both communities and individuals.

3. Show Up Consistently

Being an advocate means showing up, even when it’s tough. Consistency is key. Take inspiration from Jim Brown, always present at every Trump Flag Wave, or Nolan and Sheri Chang. Nolan, now Hawaii’s National Committeeman for the Republican Party, is committed to bringing transparency, defending family, freedom, and fairness, and fighting for his community’s future. Despite the challenges they face, Nolan and Sheri refuse to be pushed out, embodying the power of ordinary citizens to create extraordinary change. As Nolan says, "If not me, who? If not now, when?” Their story, like Jim’s, proves that showing up consistently can inspire and drive real transformation.

4. Engage and Encourage Dialogue

The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly. – Jim Rohn

Advocacy isn’t just about speaking louder—it’s about creating conversations. Encourage people around you to listen and consider different perspectives. Sarah O’Neill’s advocacy exemplifies this dedication. Her work with We The People Alliance AZ, supporting legal challenges like Abe Hamadeh’s election contest, has given her firsthand insight into the electoral process. With a background rooted in her family’s Midwestern values and service, Sarah’s unwavering commitment to the future of the country is strengthened by personal experiences, like her son’s near-death encounter in Iraq. Her story reminds us of the profound impact individual dedication can have in the fight for a secure and just nation.

5. Learn from Grassroots Leaders

Leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders. – Tom Peters

The Illinois Freedom Alliance, founded by Ann Parchett, shows how grassroots dedication can build a movement for defending constitutional rights. Started by concerned citizens committed to core American principles, the organization assembled a team of experts to educate and inform the public on crucial issues affecting our freedoms. By empowering individuals with knowledge and a strong foundation in constitutional values, the Alliance exemplifies how citizens can rally to protect the nation’s heritage. This dedication, like the Posse’s, illustrates the power of local action for national impact.

6. Lead by Example

Go as far as you can see; when you get there you’ll be able to see farther. – J. P. Morgan

Leadership in advocacy often comes naturally when you’re dedicated and involved. Don’t wait for someone to ask you to step up—take initiative. Joe (@ABikerforTrump1968), along with others on Gettr, @Maggie2096, @Jasondahl, @CCMiddleton, and @Maggiemule85, formed MAGA LIONS to connect and empower advocates, especially during their campaign against Kevin McCarthy’s Speaker bid. Joe led the team, producing and organizing candidate lists, while Jason contributed most of the names, and @Maggie2096 and @Maggiemule85 amplified the lists on social media. Their collaboration shows how strong networks can inspire the Posse to act boldly and with purpose.

6. Embrace Positivity and Hope

Great leadership usually starts with a willing heart, a positive attitude, and a desire to make a difference. – Mac Anderson

In the face of challenges, stay hopeful and positive. Advocacy can be tough, and there will be times when the path forward feels uncertain. Remember, a positive attitude can be contagious. When others see you maintaining hope, they’re reminded of why they joined the movement in the first place. Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress.

7. Encourage Each Other and Build Community

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. – John Quincy Adams

Supporting fellow Posse members and encouraging new advocates is one of the most impactful things you can do. We’re stronger when we’re united. Make it a point to welcome new faces, share opportunities for involvement, and uplift one another. Our strength as a movement lies in our unity, commitment, and the relationships we build along the way.

In Conclusion

The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things. – Ronald Reagan

Being an advocate is about more than standing up; it’s about bringing others with you. It’s about living your convictions with every choice and every action. When each of us rises to this call, we create a force for change that cannot be ignored. The Posse’s potential is boundless, and it begins with each one of us choosing to make a difference, day in and day out. Let’s stand together, speak up, and keep fighting for what we believe in. The future depends on it—and on you.

You have to think anyway, so why not think big? – Donald J. Trump
