US Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX)  issued a stark warning to Steve Bannon’s  WarRoom audience on Friday, from the US Senate CloakRoom: President Trump’s America First budget is being gutted in the Senate. If conservatives don’t rise up now, we risk another trillion in debt, a watered-down spending bill, and a betrayal of the American people. Roy demands that Senate conservatives stand firm—and that the grassroots refuse to accept anything less than the real deal.

Roy delivered an unfiltered message: the Senate is on the verge of wrecking President Trump’s budget and surrendering to swamp politics. Roy applauded Trump’s recent military strike decisions, highlighting their precision and restraint—a clear departure from decades of neocon war addiction. "MAGA Americans don’t want another endless war,” Roy affirmed. "The President executed this perfectly.”

But the praise stopped there. The conversation turned quickly to the fiscal disaster unfolding behind closed Senate doors. According to Roy, the "Big Beautiful Bill”—originally passed in the House with at least partial fiscal restraint—is now being torn apart. The Senate’s version strips out critical reforms, adds nearly a trillion dollars in new spending, and props up Biden-era green subsidies under the guise of compromise. "The Senate is blowing it up,” Roy said bluntly.

Among the stripped provisions:

Ending federal funding for transgender surgeries

Eliminating regulations and taxes on firearm suppressors

Reforms to food stamps aimed at ending abuse

Tax hikes on bloated left-wing university endowments (slashed from 28% to 8%)

A ban on sending taxpayer dollars to Chinese-linked solar and battery manufacturers

Roy calls it what it is: a sellout.

He warned the bill now serves corporate interests and globalist cronies instead of the American worker. "We’re allowing existing Green New Deal projects to continue, and even some future ones,” Roy said. "That’s not how you terminate a scam. That’s how you keep it alive.”

Most infuriating of all? The lack of urgency. "We’re at $37 trillion in debt. The Financial Times is reporting investors are fleeing U.S. bonds,” he told Bannon. "And yet too many of my colleagues don’t feel the heat.”

Roy pointed to conservative fighters—Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, Rick Scott—who are holding the line. But pressure is mounting. "The White House should stop leaning on the conservatives and start twisting arms of the moderates who are undermining the President’s agenda,” he urged.

The Congressman isn’t backing down. He’s staying in D.C. for the long weekend to continue the fight and urged grassroots MAGA supporters to stay alert, stay vocal, and hold every lawmaker accountable. "We’ve got to deliver for the President—but it has to be the right bill. One that actually stops the spending, ends the inflation, and stops subsidizing our own destruction.”

Call to Action:
It’s time to make noise. Roy said it is time to flood your Senators with calls. Demand that they support the original MAGA provisions. Tell them: No more backroom betrayals. No more fake compromises. The American people didn’t vote for a managed decline. They voted for a revolution. And it’s up to us to finish it.
