Raynard Jackson Says, “Trump’s Presidency will be Both Historic and Transformative”

Raynard Jackson is the founder of Black Americans for a Better Future (BAFBF) and a frequent guest on the WarRoom program who sees a unique opportunity in the upcoming administration of Donald Trump. Jackson, known for his blunt, direct style, has long advocated engaging Black Americans in conservative politics, especially Black entrepreneurs.  As chairman of BAFBF, a Super PAC dedicated to Black entrepreneurship and increasing Black involvement in the Republican Party, Jackson has worked tirelessly to bring new perspectives and voices into MAGA. He believes Trump’s next four years will be "historic and transformative.”

Jackson told the WarRoom in a Sunday interview that he is prepared to work directly with the White House, Congress, and the RNC to help develop a strategic plan targeting the Black community.

Jackson’s history with President Donald Trump dates back to 2015 when Trump came down the golden escalator and changed America. Then, in June 2020, Jackson went viral when he urged Trump to engage more directly with Black-owned media, recognizing its unique power to reach Black Americans without filters or bias.

At that 2020 White House meeting, Jackson told Trump that “radical liberal journalists” with their liberal biases, like Joy Reid, Don Lemon, and Roland Martin, are “putting more poison into the Black community than any drug dealer” and “killing more Black folks than any white person with a sheet over their face.”

In 2024, Jackson stated that Trump had established a substantive foundation for deeper engagement with the Black community. To build on the successes of the recent campaign, a well-thought-out strategic communications plan is now essential.

Jackson said he is prepared to work directly with the White House, the Congress, and the RNC to help develop a strategic plan targeting the Black community.

Jackson said that Blacks voted for Trump, not for the Republican Party.

For an example of Jackson’s aggressive communication style, see this June 2020 video clip:

In his most recent column, Donald Trump Did Not Win The Presidency, on WarRoom.org, Jackson was candid about Trump’s unique impact on the electorate: "Trump is historic, as he’s the second person to win two non-consecutive terms. But he’s transformative because he’s managed to unite a unique coalition: 16% of Black Americans, 45% of Hispanic Americans—no other U.S. president has done this.” Jackson argues that these numbers aren’t accidental but a testament to Trump’s appeal to a broad section of the American people.

“I was MAGA before MAGA,” Jackson asserts. “When it comes to deportation, you won’t find anyone more conservative than me—I’m even further to the right than Pat Buchanan.” Jackson backs Trump’s plan for mass deportations and believes Trump’s re-election proves he’s the only political figure capable of uniting Americans with a bold and inclusive vision.

"People voted for someone who spoke to issues they care about. This diversity is the core of MAGA,” he says, explaining that the movement is about shared values and a commitment to America’s success, regardless of race or background.

Jackson also warns that the conservative movement must use a sophisticated communications strategy to stay engaged with the Black community. He says he will offer his expertise to the White House, Congress, and the RNC to develop such a media strategy.

Jackson believes that Trump’s policies on tax cuts, immigration reform, and economic opportunity resonate widely in the Black community.

As a grad of Oral Roberts University, Jackson is fond of saying, “Go into every man’s world and meet them at the point of their need.”

Trump has done his job; the rest is up to MAGA.
