The Islamic Republic of Iran fired scores of ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday night, sending the entire country running for bomb shelters.
“All Israeli civilians are in bomb shelters as rockets from Iran are fired at Israel,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement. “Approx. 10 million civilians are the targets of Iranian projectiles.”

Various reports pinned the number of ballistic missiles fired from inside Iran at Israel at approximately 100.
Videos circulated online appeared to show the moment that some of the ballistic missiles exploded on the ground.

There was also extensive footage showing missiles flying in Israeli airspace, with some being intercepted by the Iron Dome.
