Daily Wire host Brett Cooper shared new details about her upcoming Bentkey movie, “Snow White and the Evil Queen,” making it clear that the film will be “in line with the values in which it was written.”
During Cooper’s recent appearance on “The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast,” the two hosts discussed her role, in the first feature-length live-action production for Bentkey, The Daily Wire’s children’s entertainment platform, and the film’s challenge to Disney’s “woke” “Snow White” movie.
“People were very disappointed, very upset about the way Disney was rolling out this project,” the actor and host of “The Comments Section” said, revealing that they are currently “in pre-production” on the film which is coming out soon.
“As somebody who is more traditional … it’s sad to watch these stories be completely destructed for that [woke] agenda,” Cooper said, noting that she grew up reading classic literature and loved Brothers Grimm’s version.

She said that Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing told her they wanted to do a Snow White story that will be “in line with the values in which it was written. We want to honor the story.”
Cooper also revealed that Bentkey’s “Snow White” will be a musical, after sharing that she’d taken singing and dancing lessons for her role as Snow White.
Last year, Boreing revealed the “Snow White and the Evil Queen” film was in the works during the launch of Bentkey, The Daily Wire’s new kids entertainment company.
“Instead of telling stories about timeless truth, what the ancient fairy tales were all about, Disney’s new ‘Snow White’ is an apology for their past and will expose children to the popular but destructive lies of the current moment,” Boreing said at the time.
Disney announced in November that there would be a delay in the release of its “Snow White” following a backlash from those upset about the casting of Latin actress Rachel Zegler as the maiden with “skin as white as snow,” and then from actor Peter Dinklage, who slammed Disney for attempting to remake the “f***ing backward” story about seven cave-dwelling dwarfs.
The criticism against the movie escalated after Zegler slammed the original story, describing the prince as a “stalker” and made it clear the live-action story she was part of would have nothing in common with the “weird” original 1937 love story.
“It’s one of those things that I think everyone’s going to have their assumptions about what it’s going to be, but it’s really not about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful,” Zegler said.
In another video that resurfaced later, the actress faced another backlash after she said that the remake wasn’t going to have any of those things like Snow White “being saved by the prince” or the princess “dreaming about true love.”
