Federal law enforcement officials reportedly raided two homes belonging to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.
Multiple publications reported that agents with the Department of Homeland Security conducted the raids at his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
The raids come after a federal investigation was launched into Combs, 54, in response to a wave of civil lawsuits that were filed against him late last year.
Three women and one man have been interviewed by federal investigators “in relation to allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms,” NBC News reported, according to a source familiar with the investigation.
At least three more people are scheduled to be interviewed by investigators, the report said.
Video footage from a news helicopter appeared to show several individuals in handcuffs outside Combs’ home in Los Angeles.

DHS issued a statement on Monday evening about the law enforcement operation.
“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” the statement said. “We will provide further information as it becomes available.”
Combs responded to the several lawsuits that were filed against him late last year by denying any wrongdoing.
“For the last couple of weeks, I have say silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” Combs said in a statement in December.
“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looks for a quick payday,” he said. “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and the truth.”
