Paris Hilton responded to criticism after she posted a video on TikTok of her young kids’ forward-facing car seat setup in the back of her van.
In a post on the social media site, Hilton posted a new video of her son Phoenix, 1, and daughter London, 6 months old, in their car seats — now properly positioned, with both babies facing towards the back of the van.
“Thanks for the mom advice, I’m new to this,” Hilton said in the new clip. “The #CutesieCrew is now ready for take off in the #SlivingMom van.”
“No one is perfect,” she added to one follower. “Love you.”
Hilton also responded to the criticism, telling another follower, “I am a new mom and just learning as I go. So, I appreciate advice when it is kind as I’m just trying to be the best mom I can be,” TMZ noted.
The new post comes after the socialite deleted an earlier video of her two kids all dressed up on their way to go somewhere on Mother’s Day. In the clip, her kids’ car seats are both facing to the front with a latch and a belt, Page Six reported.

“Please hire someone to install car seats,” one social media user commented.
Another person offered to, “come help [her] with the straps” to keep the “babies as safe as can be.”
While a third person said, “Please dble chk [sic] the car seat manu’s recs on if you can use the latch & belt at the same time. Usually hard no. Also, rear facing until [2 years old] is usually law.”
Others simply called it “so unsafe” and “so dangerous” with the kids facing forward.
However, there were those who defended Hilton’s setup and pointed out that her kids were “not strapped into a typical car” and were “fine,” labeling her execution “perfect.”
In CA the current law states that “children under 2 years of age shall ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. The child shall be secured in a manner that complies with the height and weight limits specified by the manufacturer of the car seat.”
Last year, Paris made a surprise announcement that she and husband Carter Reum were going to be parents again via surrogacy after they first welcomed their son via a surrogate a year ago. She and Reum tied the knot in 2021.
In a post on Instagram, she included a photo of a little pink outfit with heart-shaped sunglasses and a bunny. The name embroidered on the outfit read, “London.” Hilton captioned the post, “Thankful for my baby girl,” along with a pink heart and baby emoji.
