Leaders from around the world expressed shock and showed an outpouring of support for former President Donald Trump after a man shot him in the ear during what federal law enforcement officials have officially labeled an assassination attempt.
The suspect — identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks — was shot and killed after he fired multiple rounds at Trump, one of which was an inch from being a potentially fatal hit. At least one Trump supporter in the crowd was killed and two more were seriously injured during the attack, the U.S. Secret Service said in a statement.

Argentinian President Javier Milei said that Trump has all of his “support and solidarity” after he survived “a COWARDLY assassination attempt that put his life and that of hundreds of people at risk.”

I hope for the speedy recovery of President Trump and that the elections in the United States are held fairly, peacefully and democratically.”
