  • With less than two months until they wander off into the sunset, Joe Biden and his merry band of Marxist misfits are doing everything in their power to undermine President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to peacefully resolve the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

On Sunday, the Democrat administration further escalated the conflict by authorizing Kyiv to use American-made long-range missiles to strike inside of Russia. As noted by The New York Times, the decision “is a major change in U.S. policy,” and represents the first time Biden has given Ukraine the green light to deploy U.S.-supplied weapons for such a purpose.

And it didn’t take long for the policy change to have its intended effect.

Following the path of breadcrumbs laid out by the administration, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly fired the ATACMS missiles into Russian territory on Tuesday. According to CNBC, the purported attack came the same day Moscow updated its nuclear doctrine, clarifying “that any aggression against Russia by a non-nuclear state, if it’s supported by a nuclear power, will be considered as a joint attack,” and seemingly lowering the threshold to deploy nuclear weapons.

While incredibly negligent, Biden’s allowance of American-supplied missiles to be deployed into Russian territory is just the tip of the iceberg.

The same day Ukraine fired into Russia, Biden authorized the shipment of antipersonnel land mines to Kyiv — a policy he once called “reckless.” The Pentagon subsequently announced the next day that $275 million worth of supplies and weapons would be shipped to the Eastern European state.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, the administration is also reportedly seeking to “forgive” $4.65 billion in U.S. taxpayer money loaned to Ukraine as part of a supplemental package previously passed by Congress.

    Undemocratic Sabotage

The administration’s continued subsidization of Ukraine’s war efforts isn’t new. Biden and Co. have supported indefinitely dumping U.S. taxpayer-funded resources into Kyiv’s coffers since the conflict began two and a half years ago.

The timing and severity of these drastic policy shifts, however, are damning.

Unlike Biden, Trump has regularly sought to negotiate a deal between Ukraine and Russia to end the bloodshed and restore peace to the region. Preventing further loss of life, the future president has maintained, must be priority. And on Nov. 5, that’s the foreign policy more than 76 million Americans voted for when they reelected him to a second term.

In acknowledgement of this incoming shift in U.S. diplomacy, Zelensky indicated a willingness on Saturday — a day before Biden authorized the use of long-range missiles — to end the war “by diplomatic means” next year. Given the administration’s war-mongering actions this week, however, it’s likely those potentially life-saving negotiations won’t be happening anytime soon.

What the Biden-Harris administration is doing is nothing short of malevolent. These leftist kooks are ratcheting up the war on their way out the White House door, defying the will of the American people and sabotaging Trump’s efforts to secure a peace agreement in the process.

Biden and his cronies are playing a dangerous game that won’t produce any winners. The goal should be — and should have always been — to establish peace in the region. Not put the globe on the precipice of World War III.

The last thing America needs is to get bogged down in another senseless overseas conflict. The incoming Trump administration can only hope cooler heads prevail in Moscow, and that the Kremlin doesn’t retaliate in a way that prompts a wider conflict further involving the U.S. and NATO countries. Otherwise, the world is in for a rough ride.
