Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) called for a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. Warren told host Jake Tapper that Vice President Kamala Harris is the candidate to “get it done.”

“I don’t need to tell you voters overwhelmingly disapprove of how the Biden-Harris administration has handled the border,” Tapper said. “By giving the nomination to one of the leaders of the border effort, aren’t Democrats doubling down on one of your party’s biggest vulnerabilities?”

Warren answered by making the false claim that border crossings are lower than they were in the final year of the Trump Administration. “This is a problem that ultimately has to be solved by Congress,” she said.

“We need the tools in order to have more resources at the border, to have more resources in the states and cities that are supporting migrants. And I believe we need to create a pathway to citizenship. All of that is part of what we need to do for comprehensive immigration reform. Kamala Harris will work with Congress and get that done,” the far-left senator added.

Since President Biden took office in 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents have recorded more than 8-million encounters with illegal aliens. This figure does not include “gotaways,” which refers to illegal aliens who manage to enter the United States undetected.

One of Biden’s first actions as president was to rescind former President Donald Trump’s “Remain In Mexico” policy, which required perspective asylum seekers to stay in Mexico prior to their asylum court dates. Instead, the Biden Administration has massively expanded its “catch and release” program, under which illegal aliens are given a court date before being released into the interior United States.

Data has long shown that a large percentage of these people never turn up for their court dates.

While campaigning in 2020, Kamala Harris called for illegal immigration to be decriminalized and rejected to the term “illegal alien.” She has also called for illegal aliens to receive U.S. taxpayer-funded free healthcare, as well as the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a federal agency responsible for deportations.
