X owner Elon Musk — who has endorsed former President Donald Trump and eliminated censorship after purchasing the social network formerly known as Twitter — predicted that he will be arrested if Kamala Harris is elected in November.
“If he loses, I’m fucked,” Musk said with a laugh during a recent interview with Tucker Carlson. “It does seem that way,” Carlson replied.
“How long do you think my prison sentence is going to be?” Musk quipped. “Will I see my children? I don’t know.”
Elsewhere in the nearly two-hour interview, Musk stated that he is “all in” for Trump after previously voting for Biden in 2020. While the tech innovator had been drifting away from the Democratic Party in recent years, he made the shift official after former President Trump was nearly assassinated on July 13.
“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk wrote on an X post at the time. Musk has since interviewed Trump in an X spaces discussion and most recently joined him onstage when he returned to Butler, Pennsylvania.
In his discussion with Tucker Carlson on Monday, Musk offered a prediction on a hypothetical Harris Administration’s plan to prosecute him, pointing to a joke he made about how nobody is attempting to assassinate the vice president.
“The Kamala puppet, I call it — the machine that the Kamala puppet represents,” he said. “I made a joke, which I deleted, which is like, nobody’s even bothering to try to kill Kamala, because it’s pointless. What do you achieve? Nothing. They’ll just find another puppet.”
“If he loses it’s going to be hard for you to pretend you never supported him,” Carlson noted, to which Musk replied simply with, “all in.”
