On Tuesday former President Donald J. Trump unveiled a new partnership with celebrated musician Lee Greenwood, famed for his patriotic anthem “God Bless the USA.” The collaboration centers around the promotion of the “God Bless the USA Bible,” aimed at encouraging Americans to engage more deeply with their faith and national identity.

The “God Bless the USA Bible” is a special edition bible that includes the King James Version of the Holy Scriptures along with foundational documents of the United States, such as the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. According to Trump, this is designed to protect American liberties and rights, which he said are under constant threat.

“I'm proud to be partnering with my very good friend Lee Greenwood,” Trump said in his endorsement. “This Bible is very important to me. It's the King James Version, and it also includes our founding father documents. Yes, the Constitution, which I'm fighting for every single day very hard to keep Americans protected.”

“You have to have it for your heart, for your soul,” Trump continued. “Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back, and we have to bring them back fast.”

Trump's remarks also touched on a cultural and spiritual crisis he sees facing the nation, linking the loss of religious faith directly to societal issues. “Our country is going haywire. We've lost religion in our country!”

The former president passionately argued for the return of Christianity into the daily lives of Americans, suggesting that a resurgence of faith is key to the nation's recovery and prosperity. “All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It's my favorite book.”

Amidst his promotion of the Bible, Trump did not shy away from criticizing the attacks on religious freedom, particularly from the media and left-wing groups. He called for Christians to defend their right to worship and express their faith openly, reinforcing the need to protect pro-God content in the public sphere.

“Our founding fathers did a tremendous thing when they built America on Judeo-Christian values. Now, that foundation is under attack, perhaps as never before,” Trump warned. He urged his supporters to stand up, speak out, and pray for divine intervention to restore and bless the United States.

Concluding his endorsement, Trump praised Lee Greenwood not only for his musical talent but also for his character. “He's very, very special. And I think you all should get a copy of God Bless the USA Bible now and help spread our Christian values with others,” Trump encouraged.

As Holy Week progresses, Trump's message is clear: to make America pray again.
