CNN anchor Dana Bash got more attention than she may have hoped for at a book signing where anti-Israel aggravators interrupted her remarks to claim that she is complicit in “genocide” against Palestinians.

A shouting match ensued at the Politics and Prose bookstore in Washington, D.C. where Bash appeared to promote her new book, “America’s Deadliest Election: The Cautionary Tale of the Most Violent Election in American History.” Instead of talking about the Reconstruction era elections, Bash reprimanded far-left activists who donned masks and screamed her down, accusing her of complicity in covering up alleged war crimes by Israel. “You belong behind bars! We know what you are. We know what you’re saying. It’s not a war, it’s never been a war – it is ethnic cleansing, it is genocide! There are children getting bombed!” a woman shouts in a clip circulating on X.

A moderator attempts to calm the protestor down while a quiet crowd looks on. “Do you understand that when you tweeted five days ago about the hostages that there were over 10,000 political prisoners in Israeli death camps!” she screamed, her voice rising. She was joined by at least a second protestor who stormed in front of the audience to make their point. “I came here to ask her why she’s telling lies in public every single time,” she yelled at a man who attempted to intervene. “Every single time she lies, a neighborhood in Gaza dies! She is killing people! You know you are! Look me in the eye! Look me in the eye!”

Police officers dragged the woman out of the bookstore, but not before a few audience members clapped back. “Take off your mask,” one replied. Another yelled, “You don’t deserve to look [Bash] in the eyes.” Normalcy didn’t stay for long before a second female protestor jumped up to continue the spectacle. “My friends have been dying in Gaza and you have not been reporting it!” she yelled, angrily pointing her finger in Bash’s direction. “You call yourself a good journalist? Report the truth!” She accused Bash of “taking millions” of dollars from pro-Israeli lobbyists that have afforded her a “multi-million dollar house” where she lives alone. Bash, who is Jewish, is twice divorced. She doesn’t appear to reply as the woman is removed.

“Now, protesting the way the Israeli government, the Israeli prime minister is prosecuting the retaliatory war against Hamas is one thing,” Bash previously said during her “Inside Politics” program, according to the New York Post. “Making Jewish students feel unsafe at their own schools is unacceptable. And it is happening way too much right now.” A CNN spokesperson called the decades-long anchor “a highly respected veteran journalist” who has reported “fairly” for more than 30 years. “We firmly stand by her and her reporting, and while we respect the right of free speech, we will not be intimidated and will continue to cover all subjects without fear or favor,” a CNN spokesperson told The Post in a statement.
