Election interference in PA? Voting lines cut short by hours in Bucks County, reports say

Reports from the Upper Bucks Government Service Center polling location in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, noted that the polling location abruptly closed its voting line nearly three hours ahead of the scheduled closing time on Tuesday.

Polling officials in Quakertown, Pennsylvania called in police to assist them in abruptly cutting off the voting line well ahead of closing time, reports say.

According to the Bucks County website, the polling station was expected to remain open until 4:30 p.m., but a line-cutting order reportedly went into effect at 1:45, leaving voters who arrived later turned away and outraged.

One citizen, known as @Kellyannelu on X, documented the experience firsthand, detailing how polling staff cut the line as early as 1:45 p.m. and distributed handouts that stated the location was “not a polling place,” and explaining the line closure as a “courtesy.”

“Voter fraud in Quakertown Bucks County, Pa. They cut the line at 1:45 and handed everyone a BS handout, saying it’s not a polling place and saying it’s a courtesy. Also, there are people here with ‘voter’ protection tags. I asked the lady if I could see her credentials as a poll watcher, and she said she was a poll monitor. That’s NOT a thing!!” the citizen wrote.

The Trump campaign has filed a lawsuit against Bucks County, accusing county election officials of obstructing GOP voters from participating in on-demand mail-in voting.

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump said in a post to Truth Social: “Pennsylvania is cheating, and getting caught, at large scale levels rarely seen before. REPORT CHEATING TO AUTHORITIES. Law Enforcement must act, NOW!”

Speaking at a packed rally in Allentown, RNC Chair Michael Whatley emphasized the historic momentum of Republican voters across the state and blasted Bucks County officials for attempting to halt the red wave sweeping Pennsylvania.

“Now, I know that a lot of you today have seen these videos of people being turned away at the polls in places like Delaware County and Bucks County. And last night, we even saw one of our great local leaders, Val Biancaniello, arrested at the polls for telling people to stay in line. All she was doing was telling folks, ‘Stay and vote.’ They took her away in handcuffs,” Whatley said during the rally.

“Folks, here’s what’s happening: Democrat election officials are seeing our numbers. They’re seeing our turnout. They are seeing us breaking early vote records across Pennsylvania. They are terrified, and they want to stop our momentum. We are not going to let them suppress our votes. We are going to fight.

“I’m proud tonight to tell you that the Trump-Vance campaign has just filed a huge lawsuit against Bucks County for turning away our voters. We are going to fight this thing in court, and all we ask of you is to stay in line. Donald Trump needs your votes. Donald Trump needs Pennsylvania, and America needs Pennsylvania. We are going to swamp the vote, and we are not going to let the Democrats stop us.”

Authorities say ballot drop boxes in Oregon and Washington were set on fire early Monday with incendiary devices which carried markings with the expression “Free Gaza,” ABC News reported.

The ballot box fires, which occurred near the Oregon-Washington border, are also believed to be connected to a third ballot box incident that occurred earlier this month in Vancouver, Washington, police said.

The sources said the incendiary device used in the first arson, on Oct. 8, had “Free Gaza” and “Free Palestine” on it. The two subsequent devices, set off in the early hours of Monday morning in Vancouver, Washington and nearby Portland, Oregon, carried the slogan “Free Gaza.”

In Vancouver, “hundreds” of ballots are believed to have been damaged on Monday, though an official number has not yet been determined, Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey said at a press briefing.

The Clark County Auditor’s Office said it will be working to ensure impacted voters have replacement ballots in time.

Also in Washington state, a King County woman told local news that she received 16 unopened ballots addressed to her unit, under different names she had never heard before.

“I was in complete shock,” said Jami Visaya, who rents a two-bedroom apartment in Bellevue. “My son and I moved in here on Oct. 3.”

Visaya said she first received nine ballots in her mail and returned them to the post office. Soon after, she received seven more ballots.

“It’s all names of, like, Indian descent and possibly Middle Eastern,” she said.

Visaya said most of the ballots are addressed to different last names, which leads her to believe the ballots do not belong to one, two, or even three prior households.

Plus, she said, “Management said no one’s lived here for three months” before she moved in.

Visaya wonders, “Why didn’t I get all of their other mail forwarded here, or junk mail, or anything like that?”

Washington is a vote-by-mail state, meaning all registered voters receive a ballot in their mail.
