“Christian voters need to turn out in the largest numbers ever,” Trump said during a campaign stop in Greenville, North Carolina.

Trump said of the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania: “I was knocked to the ground essentially by what seemed like a supernatural hand, and I would like to think God saved me for a purpose, and that is to make our country greater than ever before.”

Trump said the religious community can play a large role in stopping Democrat Kamala Harris, who intends to pack the Supreme Court with liberal justices, will continue the open border polices that allowed millions of illegals into the country, wants to allow men to play in women’s sports, and advocates for sex change operations for children.

“We love Christians, we welcome believers, and we embrace followers of Jesus,” Trump said of his campaign.

“As I look back at my life’s journey and events, I now recognize that it has been the hand of God leading me to where I am today,” Trump said.

Trump also highlighted how Harris at a recent campaign rally told outspoken Christians that they were “at the wrong rally” when they interrupted her speech with shouts of “Jesus is Lord!” While drawing mocking laughter from her audience, Harris told the two Christians to go to the Trump rally.

“At Trump rallies, we don’t tell Christians to get lost; we tell Christians to get out and vote,” Trump said.

Speaking at the Trump rally, Franklin Graham said the “only hope for Donald J. Trump and our nation is God.”
