Moving forward not everything will be clean, people will scared, people will reach the precipice.   • Zoomers are seemingly rewriting the teenage rite of passage script, opting for tech over tires as they steer a cultural shift away from the traditional rush to the open road.
  • New research from MarketWatch Guides found that the youngest group of drivers – ages 19 and under – make up only one in 25, or approximately 3.6%, of licensed drivers in the U.S. Taking all drivers under age 25 into account brings the combined percentage to 11% of the driving force.
  • Drivers aged 30-34, meanwhile, are most likely to be behind the wheel, their overall percentage coming to 9% across that 4-year age span alone.

    So lets break this down, as of right now Jack SMith case is not going well. Judge Cannon is exposing the corruption, Jack wants to remove this Judge and bring the case to another Judge. At this time this case will probably be heard after the elections, but what about the immunity case, if they strip immunity from Trump before the election and the case is after the election does this work in Trumps favor. Now they could bring another case right before the election, but if they do this they will lose, because as we get closer to the election it will look like election interference. So if they remove immunity and the case is not going to be heard to after the election, does this work to Trump advantage.

  • Judge Merchan told jurors they did not have to agree on a crime. This is unheard of in US history. The jury only had to agree something bad happened. This, of course, is completely unconstitutional.

  • “The Appellate Division has affirmed the validity of President Trump's substantial claim against Mary Trump,” attorney Alina Habba wrote on X Thursday.
  • Court records confirm New York Supreme Court's appellate division upheld a decision denying Mary Trump's motion to dismiss a lawsuit from her uncle.
  • “The motion to dismiss was nonetheless properly denied because the breach of contract claim has a substantial basis in law,” the ruling states.
  • “At a minimum, nominal damages may still be available on the breach of contract claim even in the absence of actual damages.”

  • What comes next? A sentencing hearing to be briefed by both sides.
  • We’re guessing that prosecutors will probably request incarceration. They will guarantee Trump’s safety to Judge Merchan. They’ll promise that Trump will be housed in the most secure facility, with room for Secret Service protection, and segregated from the general population. Perhaps they’ll tell Judge Merchan that Trump will have his own wing or floor.
  • They’ll point to Trump’s lack of remorse, the “seriousness” of the charges, how Trump attacked our democracy (apparently the weakest institution on the planet, should they be believed), and to Trump’s social media attacks against the judge and the prosecutors and the witnesses.
  • And they’ll make those arguments before a judge who agrees. Given Judge Merchan’s behavior throughout this matter, there’s nothing to suggest he won’t sentence Trump to prison. The length of that term could be months or years. At a maximum it would likely be four years, if Merchan decides the counts should run concurrently.
  • But Judge Merchan has a ton of discretion; Trump could also be sentenced to probation or receive a conditional discharge, should he conclude that “neither the public interest nor the ends of justice would be served by a sentence of imprisonment and that probation supervision is not appropriate.”
  • Trump’s team will appeal, of course. And even if he is sentenced to prison, there’s a very good chance that Trump will be free and out on bail pending that appeal.
  • In any event, it’s a sad day for this country. But it’s not over. November still looms for the Democrats – Biden’s numbers are dismal – and this could very well bolster Trump’s campaign. Judge Merchan knows all this… will it influence Trump’s sentence? Quite possibly.
