The US economy is slowing, we are now in 2008 territory. We are most likely in a recession, the signs are now signaling yes. The [DS] players are trying to stop DOGE by issuing contracts to agencies so they cannot be removed. Peter Navarro is back and Trump just nominated the Digital Asset Czar. The [DS] is now releasing more of their plan to stop Trump. Trump has always know their playbook and 3 steps ahead of them. Trump understands how the game is played. The [DS] was not going to go easily, they will hunker down and to try the nominees, they try to stop Trump from firing people and they will try to stop Trump from taking office, all of this will fail in the end. The Mandate is clear, the people have spoken.

Economy

  •  records of 25 months in the 1974-1975 recession and 24 months during the 2008 Financial Crisis. As a result, the gauge is now 17.6% below its peak, the 4th largest drawdown in history. Historically, there are an average of 11 months between a peak and a recession. Is the US economy set to enter a recession?
  •   the long-term average since the 1950s has been ~1.1x. Since 2008, US equities have outperformed global stocks by a whopping 400%. Such relative superior returns have never been seen in history. US stocks are in their own league.
  •   began. After the historic market run, corporate insiders are taking profits on their own stocks. Why executives are selling so much stock?

This will basically take away the ability of D.O.G.E. to impact spending for the next 10 months. They need to pass something by December 20th. Tell Congress just to fund the govt thru the end of January so that Trump can make decisions for 2025.

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was facing a DoJ investigation and lawsuit when he was shot dead at investor conference

  • UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was accused of insider trading and fraud by the Department of Justice before he was assassinated on Wednesday in Manhattan.
  • Thompson, 50, was shot dead in what NYPD officials believe was a targeted attack as he exited the Hilton hotel before an investor conference. His killer remains on the loose.
  • Last year the DoJ launched a probe into whether the nation’s biggest insurer, led by Thompson, was unfairly restricting competitors and running a monopoly.
  • Then in October, the City of Hollywood Firefighters’ Pension Fund in May initiated a complaint against the company against Thompson and other executives, accusing the CEO of failing to tell investors about the federal probe before he unloaded over 31 percent of his stock, taking in $15.1 million in proceeds.
  • In legal documents, investigators said that Thompson and other company execs sold over $117 million worth of UnitedHealth common stock during the four-month period when insiders knew about the federal antitrust investigation but the public did not.
  •  Thompson was accused of being aware of the DoJ probe into the company, and not telling investors before he unloaded over 31 percent of his stock

  • Judge in Hunter Biden tax case blasts Joe for ‘rewriting history’ as he slams son’s pardon

  • The presiding judge in Hunter Biden‘s tax fraud case said he would accept the pardon issued by his father but slammed President Joe Biden for trying to ‘rewrite history’ in his reasoning.
  • Both cases against Hunter – the conviction in June of lying on a federal government form to buy a gun and also possessing the firearm while abusing drugs, as well as the tax fraud guilty plea in September – are being closed out by the ruling judges.
  • District Judge Mark Scarsi in Los Angeles indicated he would dismiss the case once the pardon is formally received in a blistering five-page order.
  • Scarsi savaged multiple aspects of the pardon, however, and was critical of the president’s assertion that his son was singled out for political reasons, saying two judges had rejected similar arguments from his defense attorneys.
  • ‘The president’s own attorney general and Department of Justice personnel oversaw the investigation leading to the charges,’ wrote Scarsi, who was appointed by Donald Trump.
  • Scarsi wrote that Biden’s pardon can only mean that ‘in the President’s estimation, this legion of federal civil servants… are unreasonable people.’
  • Scarsi also suggested that the pardon may be unconstitutional because of its specific dating back to January 1, 2014, which some have theorized may be to protect Hunter’s actions on behalf of Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

Will a presidential pardon save Hunter Biden?

  • DOJ guidelines require that pardon applicants demonstrate rehabilitation, show acceptance of responsibility, and have completed their sentence — standards Hunter could not possibly meet, given his ongoing legal woes and unresolved investigations.  Yet Garland didn’t just bend the rules; he let them snap entirely to accommodate the president’s son.
  • Hunter Biden’s slate may now appear clean, but this pardon doesn’t erase his political liabilities.  He can no longer plead the Fifth if called to testify before Congress, and Garland’s departure removes the safety net shielding him from subpoenas or charges of lying under oath.  Joe Biden may think he has closed this chapter, but all he has done is open a new one.  Congress and the public will write the next pages, and they won’t go easy.

  •   But now they can begin rolling out ‘the largest criminal investigations [note the plural, please] in modern day history.’ Declass is coming.
  • They can’t stop it because the evidence was compiled years ago and patriots have been safeguarding it. The country is now ready to see it all. The country was not ready to see any of this in 2017. Or in 2020.
  • Hell, not even by 2023 was much of the country ready to see the Awful Truth.
  • Now? The battlespace is prepared. We are in position to finish the enemy off. When the Declass happens and it all comes out about JFK, 9/11, the Fed, where all the Ukraine billions actually went, what 100 bn/yr in ‘foreign aid’ actually is, where all the missing children went, Epstein Island & who was compromised and controlled there, etc. etc.? The public turns on The Machine. Forever.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams Says Daniel Penny Did ‘What We Should Have Done as a City’

  • Penny is on trial for the death of Jordan Neely, a homeless man whom he subdued with a chokehold as he was having a violent outburst on the subway last May.
  • Adams argued that the mental health system had failed Neely.
  • New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, publicly rooted for Daniel Penny’s acquittal before the jury began deliberations on Tuesday.
  • “You have someone on that subway who was responding, doing what we should have done as a city in a state of having a mental health facility,” Adams added.
  • The mayor continued, “Those passengers were afraid. I’ve been on the subway system. I know what it is as a police officer to wrestle or fight with someone. It is imperative that we look at the totality of this problem.”
  • Adams said that he hopes the jury heard “all the facts” and that they will make the right decision.
  • “Based on all the facts that’s laid out, a jury of his peers will make the right decision. I don’t want to prejudge that,” Adams said

  • Cuba’s power grid failed overnight the government said, triggering a nationwide blackout that plunged the country into darkness for the third time in two months.
  • At 2:08 am, “the electrical system… was disconnected when the Antonio Guiteras thermal power plant went out”, the energy and mines ministry said in a post on social media.
  • It was working to restore power, the statement added. In mid-October, a massive blackout hit the cash-strapped island nation after weeks of extended outages, leaving life in the capital Havana at a virtual standstill. Schools closed, public transport ground to a halt and traffic lights stopped functioning.

The cause of that outage, like Wednesday’s, was a failure at the Antonio Guiteras plant, the biggest of Cuba’s eight coal-fired power plants.

Power was restored to most of the country in the following week, before Hurricane Rafael slammed into the island in early November, knocking out the grid nationwide once again.

  • South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an “emergency martial law” on Tuesday without providing clear reasoning. Sources say that Yoon fears impeachment from the opposition party and this declaration is merely a way for him to buy time. “
  • Martial law would have prevented an immediate impeachment, or at least that is what Yoon had hoped. Under martial law, the National Assembly is severely limited, and it would be difficult to hold impeachment proceedings. Civil liberties were stripped from the people, who were unable to protest or organize to call for an impeachment. Yoon could have used the military to prevent any dissent. He has already painted his opposition, who hold a majority in parliament, as pro-North Korean communists intent on destroying the nation.
  •

  • The people of South Korea were caught off guard by the emergency declaration. Still, the president insisted it was necessary to protect the people, rather than himself, from a fair democracy.
  • Yoon has used every trick in the book. He has declared that he is protecting the people when in fact he is protecting himself.

The declaration of martial law by President Biden would not prevent the inauguration of the incoming president from occurring, based on constitutional provisions and historical precedent:

  • Constitutional Requirement: The Constitution of the United States, specifically the 20th Amendment, states that the term of the president and vice president shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of their successors shall then begin. This amendment ensures the transition of power happens on schedule, regardless of extraordinary circumstances like martial law.
  • Martial Law Context: Martial law involves the temporary substitution of military authority for civilian rule in an area, usually in response to a significant crisis like a rebellion, invasion, or natural disaster. However, even under martial law, the fundamental constitutional processes, especially those related to the transfer of presidential power, are intended to continue unless explicitly suspended by Congress or through direct intervention by the Supreme Court.
  •
  • Legal and Political Implications: If martial law were declared, it would likely be in response to such severe conditions that the nation’s ability to conduct an inauguration might be compromised. However, this would not legally stop the transition of power from occurring at the appointed time. Instead, alternative or simplified measures might be taken to ensure that power is transferred legally, even if publicly or traditionally the ceremony might not proceed as usual.
  •

    Given these points:
  • The inauguration is a ceremonial event, but the actual transition of power is mandated by the Constitution.
  • Martial law would not legally block this transition, though it might alter how the ceremony is conducted or even if it happens publicly at all.
  • Therefore, if President Biden were to declare martial law, the inauguration would still legally occur at noon on January 20th, following the constitutional mandate. The ceremonial aspects might be adapted or canceled due to the circumstances, but the legal transfer of power would not be impeded by such a declaration.
However, this scenario remains hypothetical and speculative, as there’s no historical precedent for a sitting president declaring martial law to prevent their successor’s inauguration. The Constitution and established legal interpretations aim to preserve the continuity of government, including the presidential transition.

Biden’s Parting Gift to Bureaucrats: Biden Regime Grants Protections and Secures Permanent Telework for 42,000 Social Security Bureaucrats Until AFTER President Trump Leaves Office

  • As the Biden regime prepares to exit, it has orchestrated a move as a cunning attempt to undermine the incoming Trump administration’s agenda to streamline government operations.
  • In a last-minute deal, the Biden regime has locked in telework protections for 42,000 Social Security Administration (SSA) employees until 2029.
  • The agreement, reached with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), ensures remote work privileges for these federal workers for the next five years, despite the Trump administration’s explicit plans to slash such arrangements, according to Bloomberg.
  • The agreement, brokered between the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and the Social Security Administration, was authorized by outgoing SSA Commissioner Martin O’Malley and codifies existing telework policies, limiting management’s ability to impose stricter in-office requirements.

Pursuant to [Georgia law] the case automatically became in default when an answer was not filed by the due date. Further pursuant to that Code section, Defendant was permitted as a matter of right to open the default within 15 days of the day of default, or by April 25, 2024.” Judicial Watch wrote in its motion earlier this year.

  • Trump’s transition team has chosen to raise funds entirely from private donations, sparing taxpayer dollars and avoiding red tape. Predictably, Democrats are exploiting this decision to launch a renewed attack on the president-elect’s supporters. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., is amplifying baseless claims of nefarious influence by Trump donors, while Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., sent a letter to the Biden administration expressing alarm about the Trump transition team’s rejection of past transition practices.
  • Importantly, the Trump transition team has agreed to disclose their donors and reject funding from foreign sources. The left remains unsatisfied because transition officials have not offered details of when the disclosures will be made, nor how detailed they will be. Yet, considering the left’s history of weaponizing the government against conservatives, Trump’s instinct to protect his supporters is more than warranted.
