German luxury auto manufacturer Audi said it is considering moving car production to the United States to avoid tariffs from the Trump administration.

Volkswagen’s subsidiary Audi brand said this week that it is examining various long-term strategies, including potentially shifting production to America, to deal with President Donald Trump’s restrictions on foreign imports.

Audi CEO Gernot Döllner said that the company is “currently assessing various scenarios for additional localization in North America – among other things, to be closer to the needs of local customers and to make ourselves more resilient to global economic uncertainties.”Although no firm decision was made this week, the German auto giant said that it would be announcing later this year where it intends to produce its primary vehicle models for the American market.

Declassified JFK Files: Transcript Reveals Israeli Scientists and US Experts May Have Played Roles in Transfer of Nuclear Intelligence to Israel

The newly declassified JFK file revealed that former CIA counterintelligence chief James Angleton testified under oath in an executive session before the Church Committee in 1975 about deep intelligence ties between the United States and Israel.

The testimony, given in a top-secret executive session, was part of the Senate Select Committee’s broader investigation into intelligence operations.

Though much of the session was focused on Cold War espionage and Soviet defections, one line of questioning zeroed in on allegations that U.S. intelligence may have assisted Israel’s covert nuclear program.

Angleton, who served from the agency’s founding until late 1974, confirmed a formal, albeit unwritten, intelligence-sharing agreement between the CIA and Israeli operatives beginning in 1951, one reportedly brokered between Angleton and Reuven Shiloah, Israel’s first Mossad director, noting that the relationship operated on a fiduciary basis and avoided documentation.

Hersh had even claimed that U.S. plutonium was transferred covertly for use in Israeli nuclear weapons development.

Angleton responded to these claims with caution. He acknowledged that if such transfers occurred, they were not within his knowledge or authorized under CIA operations.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is facing a rebellion over his decision to help pass a six-month spending bill to avert a federal shutdown last week— and Republicans have noted that one of Democratic megadonor George Soros’ groups is helping to lead the charge.

Indivisible, an activist hub that has received more than $7.6 million since 2017 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations, has called for Schumer to step down for helping pass the bill and is hosting a virtual event Saturday in which activists are encouraged to write happy retirement cards to the Brooklyn Democrat.

If all 400,000 of those illegals were being given student loans, that would end up being almost $12 Billion dollars per year, and $48 billion if they attended all 4 years. Of course, if you go looking, the information available says that it isn’t possible for illegals in the United States to get federal student loans, because to fill out a FASFA you have to have a Social Security Number (SSN). But that again asks the question, how are they paying? Most illegal immigrants come from poor families, and would be unable to afford the tuition on their own.

Let’s assume for the sake of argument that HALF of that number, which is extremely implausible, was able to get scholarships or grants from NGO organizations to fund their tuition. That would still leave $6B unaccounted for per year. We are now aware thanks to Elon Musk and the DOGE team that the Social Security Administration database is not exactly up to par.

What are the chances that there are social security numbers being given out or used multiple times to fill out FASFA forms? There is a massive amount of money unaccounted for here, it needs to be looked into. Are illegal immigrants getting federal tax dollars to pay for college? If they aren’t, how are they paying?”

Trump Begins Process Of Redistributing Department Of Education’s Duties

President Donald Trump announced Friday that several of the Department of Education’s (ED) duties are being transferred to other agencies.

Student loans will now be handled by the Small Business Administration (SBA) “immediately,” while special needs and nutrition programs will be moved to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the president said at a press event Friday. The redistribution comes after Trump signed an executive order Thursday to begin the dismantling of ED.

AG Letitia James’ Building Permits Raise Serious Questions

New York Attorney General Letitia James has made a name for herself prosecuting landlords and real estate fraudsters. Yet our investigation reveals troubling discrepancies in her own property filings—irregularities that would likely result in stiff penalties for most New Yorkers.

Documents from the NYC Department of Buildings show a pattern of inconsistencies about a Brooklyn property James owns—inconsistencies that mysteriously received special treatment when reported.

The Certificate of Occupancy for 296 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn—the legal document establishing permitted use—clearly states the property is a five-family dwelling regulated under NYC housing laws.

Yet James repeatedly filed permit applications identifying the same property as a four-family dwelling—a classification subject to different regulatory requirements under New York City building codes. Under NYC building code classifications, her property with five units would be classified as C2 (which applies to buildings with 5+ units), while her filings list it as C3 (which applies to 3-4 unit buildings). This fundamental contradiction between the Certificate of Occupancy and her permit applications raises serious questions about regulatory compliance.

Multiple Discrepant Filings Show Pattern, Not Mistake

This wasn’t a one-time error. We uncovered multiple DOB permit applications containing identical discrepancies:

July 2020 Application (Job #340743146): Documents show “Dwelling Units: Existing: 4” despite the Certificate of Occupancy listing five units.

September 2020 Application (Job #340768510): Another filing repeats the same inconsistent information.

These discrepancies potentially implicate several New York laws:

NYC Administrative Code §28-211.1: This section explicitly prohibits “false statements in certificates, forms, written statements, applications, reports or certificates of correction” related to building permits and compliance documents.

NY Penal Law §175.30: This statute defines the offense of “Offering a false instrument for filing in the second degree” as “knowing that a written instrument contains a false statement or false information, [when one] offers or presents it to a public office or public servant with the knowledge or belief that it will be filed with, registered or recorded in or otherwise become a part of the records of such public office or public servant.” This offense is classified as a Class A misdemeanor.

NY Penal Law §175.35: This elevates the offense to a Class E felony when done “with intent to defraud the state or any political subdivision, public authority or public benefit corporation of the state.”

Building code compliance is not discretionary. The NYC Administrative Code §28-202.1 establishes a framework for enforcement through both civil and criminal penalties for violations, stating “violations of this code, the 1968 building code, the zoning resolution or other laws or rules enforced by the department shall be punishable by civil penalties.”

A Double Standard in Action: DOB’s Puzzling Response

Perhaps most revealing is how the city’s Department of Buildings responded when the discrepancy was brought to its attention.
