Core Inflation Falls To Lowest Rate In Four Years

Compared with a year ago, prices are up just 2.1 percent. That just one-tenth above the two percent rate of inflation the Fed says it targets. In March, prices were up 2.3 percent from a year earlier.

Core prices, a measure that excludes food and energy, also rose 0.1 percent. Over the past year, core prices are up 2.5 percent, the smallest year-over-year increase since March of 2021.

John Deere to Invest $20 Billion in America – New Assembly Lines, Factories, and US Steel

A major announcement from John Deere is giving more hope for a future with a prosperous economy.

According to the company website, John Deere will invest $20 billion in the United States over the next decade, with hometowns where these investments will go seeing a projected $25 billion impact.

Factories in Tennessee, North Carolina, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois will see new expansions, new assembly lines, or new factories altogether. Additionally, the company boasted a majority of the raw steel used in these factories will be from the United States.

A more specific breakdown showed new assemble lines in Waterloo, Iowa; an expansion to the factory in Greenville, Tennessee; a new excavator factory in Kernersville, North Carolina; a 60,000-square-foot expansion to the factory in Moline, Illinois; and a 120,000-square foot expansion in Missouri.

John Deere included in their release that 75 percent of all products sold domestically are manufactured here, as well, with a workforce of 30,000 people in 60 factories with offices or factories in 16 states.

Vance Says Bitcoin Reserve A US Strategic Advantage Over China

Vice President JD Vance said that China’s aversion to decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin was one more reason that the United States should embrace the technology.

“The People’s Republic of China doesn’t like Bitcoin. Well, we should be asking ourselves, why is that? Why is our biggest adversary such an opponent of Bitcoin, and if the communist Republic of China is leaning away from Bitcoin, then maybe the United States ought to be leaning into Bitcoin, and that’s one of the things we’re going to be doing,” he said.

He said that Bitcoin would be a strategically important asset, and that the United States should build on its advantage over the Chinese regime, as around 50 million Americans, soon to be more, own Bitcoin.

The Chinese regime banned cryptocurrency trading and investments in 2019, and its central bank in 2021 announced a crackdown on all cryptocurrency activity.

Vance said cryptocurrency, among supporters, represents “a hedge” against inflation and political persecution, referring to instances of people being denied financial services for their political views.

“With President [Donald] Trump, crypto finally has a champion and an ally in the White House,” Vance said.

Three Judges Blocking Trump’s Tariffs Have Decades-Long Histories of Democrat Activism

The judges on the U.S. Court of International Trade who ruled that President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs are illegal have a history of Democrat Party activism.

Each of the members of the three-judge panel issuing the Wednesday ruling – which was stayed Thursday by an appeals court, allowing the tariffs to continue – fit the profile of other activists judges who continued their political activism after joining the court.

Judges Gary Katzmann, Timothy Reif, and Jane Restani have histories of supporting Democrat candidates that span as far back as 45 years ago and have thwarted Trump’s authority in both of his administrations, earning allegations of judicial activism.

Katzmann, nominated by Barack Obama in 2015, attended Columbia, Oxford, and Yale Law School and later clerked for Stephen Breyer (while Breyer was on the First Circuit Court of Appeals). He was a researcher at the Center for Criminal Justice at Harvard Law School as well as a lecturer at Harvard Law School.

Reif, nominated by Trump in 2019, donated $250 to the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton in 2016, $265 to Obama’s inaugural committee in 2013, $250 to the DCCC in 1997, and $250 to the presidential campaign of Bill Clinton in 1996, according to Federal Election Commission records. In total, he gave $1,015 to Democrats from 1996 to 2016.

Restani, a Reagan appointee, attended leftwing UC Berkeley for undergrad, where she received a political science degree in 1969.

During the recent tariff trial, Restani asked the Trump administration if “courts were helpless to block the president’s emergency declarations no matter how ’crazy’ they were.”

Restani was a thorn in Trump’s side during his first administration as well.

U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Grants Pause Over Trade Court Ruling – Tariffs Remain in Force

Trump team followed their legal due diligence in several aspects of the tariff/trade deficit reset strategy, and it did not appear the New York trade court looked at any of the supportive material from the USTR and the Dept of Commerce.

Today, a full panel of U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit granted a “stay” and paused the lower court ruling pending full appeal outcome and possible Supreme Court intervention. The court is suspending the lower court decision until the appeals motions are filed and reviewed. The multinational corporations have until June 5th to file their responses to the appeal, and the Trump administration has until June 9th to file their full appeal brief.

I did so, openly and freely, but then realized that they were under the thumb of a real “sleazebag” named Leonard Leo, a bad person who, in his own way, probably hates America, and obviously has his own separate ambitions. He openly brags how he controls Judges, and even Justices of the United States Supreme Court — I hope that is not so, and don’t believe it is!

In any event, Leo left The Federalist Society to do his own “thing.” I am so disappointed in The Federalist Society because of the bad advice they gave me on numerous Judicial Nominations. This is something that cannot be forgotten! With all of that being said, I am very proud of many of our picks, but very disappointed in others.

They always must do what’s right for the Country! In this case, it is only because of my successful use of Tariffs that many Trillions of Dollars have already begun pouring into the U.S.A. from other Countries, money that, without these Tariffs, we would not be able to get.

DHS Releases List Of ‘Sanctuary’ Jurisdictions That Could Lose Federal Funding

“These sanctuary city politicians are endangering Americans and our law enforcement in order to protect violent criminal illegal aliens,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement. “We are exposing these sanctuary politicians who harbor criminal illegal aliens and defy federal law. President Trump and I will always put the safety of the American people first. Sanctuary politicians are on notice: comply with federal law.”

In some cases, entire states have been marked sanctuaries. They include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, as well as the District of Columbia.

Some of the jurisdictions fall in traditionally Republican states. These include Anchorage, Alaska; Atlanta and surrounding counties; Boise, Idaho; Monroe County, Indiana; Douglas County and Lawrence, Kansas; Louisville, Kentucky and four counties in the state; New Orleans; 10 counties in Nebraska; five counties in North Carolina; seven counties in North Dakota; and Nashville and one county in Tennessee.

FBI Tells Employees No ‘Pride’ Activities On Company Time

Pride month celebrations at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will not be permitted this June, leadership told agents and directors Thursday.

“I’ve received several questions about the FBI’s stance on Pride Month and what related activities FBI divisions and employees should or should not participate in,” FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs Ben Williamson said in an email to assistant directors in charge and special agents in charge on Thursday morning. “So, I want to take the opportunity to make FBI leadership’s expectations clear: There should be no official FBI actions, events, or messaging regarding Pride Month.”

The email told employees that while they are not to engage in any celebration in the office, they are “free to do as you like” in their “personal capacity” or “on your own time,” according to a Fox News report.

Crime Runs in the Family! Letitia James Buys Home for Niece’s Jailbird Adult Kids

William Pulte, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, cited this declaration in an April 14, 2025 letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, alleging that James may have falsified bank documents and property records to acquire government-backed assistance and loans with more favorable terms.

Pulte noted that mortgages for primary residences typically offer better rates and conditions than those for second homes or investment properties. James’s HAMP loan and her claim of marriage to her father were also cited by Pulte for investigation.

James’s explanation, that she is a “good aunt” merely helping her niece and her children – is now facing deeper scrutiny. While her words evoked images of needy young children, the facts paint a more troubling picture.

Letitia James’s niece, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, was 53 years old at the time of the home purchase. Two of her children – whom James’s statement implied were minors – are both adults, and both have significant criminal histories.

Shamice Hairston’s adult daughter, Cayla Hairston was born on August 20, 2004. She was 20 years old when Letitia James purchased 604 Sterling Street in Norfolk, Virginia and claimed it would be her primary residence.

Cayla Hairston has multiple arrests on her record, including a felony charge for violating Virginia’s law prohibiting firearm possession by convicted felons (Virginia Code §18.2-308.2) and felon in possession. This indicates that Cayla must have had a prior felony conviction, likely when she was under 18 because no records are available online.

Cayla was also charged with making a false statement on criminal history consent form when purchasing a firearm, and this is a serious offense. This form is required by Virginia law for individuals purchasing firearms from dealers. If a person willfully and intentionally makes a materially false statement on this form, they are guilty of a Class 5 felony, which can result in up to 10 years of imprisonment

Cayla was arrested again in June 2024 for grand larceny, a charge later reduced to petit larceny. She received a suspended jail sentence and was fined $539.

Even more concerning is Shamice’s 36 year old daughter, Nakia Monique Thompson, born in February 1989. Her crimes span 20 years in the states of Virginia and North Carolina, and include multiple prison sentences and convictions for: contributing to delinquency of a minor, abuse of child, possession of burglary tools, third degree larceny, grand larceny, assault and battery, petty larceny, trespassing, shoplifting, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, and conspiracy to commit larceny.

An anti-Trump IT specialist the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) was arrested on Thursday for attempting to provide classified national defense information to a foreign government.

According to the DOJ, Nathan Vilas Laatsch, 28, of Alexandria, Virginia, was arrested on Thursday in northern Virginia, and will make his initial court appearance in the Eastern District of Virginia on Friday.

The Justice Department said Laatsch offered to transmit classified information to the foreign government because he did not “agree or align with the values of this administration” and was therefore “willing to share classified information” that he had access to, including “completed intelligence products, some unprocessed intelligence, and other assorted classified documentation.”

Today, an IT specialist employed by the Defense Intelligence Agency was arrested for attempting to transmit classified national defense information to a foreign government.

Supreme Court Reins in Judges A little Bit in Latest Ruling

The US Supreme Court on Thursday in an 8-0 ruling reined in judges just a little bit as rogue judges wage a war on the Trump Administration.

The high court limited judicial review in cases related to energy and transportation projects and infrastructure.

At issue was the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) – a decades-old law that opened the door for the left to paralyze economic development by blocking projects over ‘environmental’ concerns.

Far-left environmental groups have used NEPA to stop the expansion of oil refineries and other important energy projects.

The Supreme Court said NEPA cannot be weaponized to micromanage, delay or block new projects based on environmental effects.

Gorsuch was not present for Thursday’s ruling.

During Thursday’s White House press briefing, Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway had the opportunity to ask Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about how the administration intends to rein in “rogue lower court judges” grinding the administration’s policies to a halt with overreaching injunctions and temporary restraining orders. After noting the Supreme Court and Congress’s apparent unwillingness to put a stop to it, Hemingway asked, “Is there an actual effort by this White House to tackle this issue in a comprehensive way, and if so, what is it?”

While Leavitt initially claimed there “is an effort by this administration to tackle these rogue judges and the injunctions and the blockades that we have faced in our broken judicial system,” she didn’t specify what the strategy is. The press secretary then proceeded to filibuster, listing a series of overreaching injunctions from lower court judges blocking different policies enacted by the administration.

POTUS: “This can never be allowed to happen again (in our Country or to another President).”
How do you deter & prevent this from happening again?
Simply by terminating employment of those responsible?
Simply by conducting a few ‘non-threatening’ investigations?
Or by:
Prosecuting those responsible to the fullest extent of the law?
Setting up new checks & balances and oversight designed to increase transparency?
Provide OIG office(s) w/ funding inc (size) ++ authority?
Provide select committees w/ access and in-house viewing of non NAT SEC CLAS material?
Provide a check on Directors/Dep Directors/Asst Directors of all such ABC agencies?
Establish ‘financial checks/reviews’ of those in senior (critical) positions (audits) + direct family (close proximity)?
Transparency and Prosecution is the only way forward to save our Republic and safeguard such criminal and treasonous acts from occurring again.
While some want to quietly remove those responsible and go about our business (save face on the World Stage), those in control, understand, this band-aid will simply not work.
Nobody should be above the law (no matter how massive the spider-web is (entangled)).
This will never happen again.
