AG Bondi Tells ‘Squad’ Member To ‘Tread Very Carefully’ After Calling For Elon Musk To Be ‘Taken Down’

Amid violent and destructive protests targeting Department of Government Efficiency leader Elon Musk’s company Tesla,  it might stand to reason that lawmakers across the political spectrum would speak out against such lawlessness.

Instead, some of Musk’s most ardent critics on Capitol Hill seem to be encouraging rioters to continue their criminal acts.

One elected official who has received significant pushback for her remarks on the matter has been Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who recently stated on social media that she wants to see the tech billionaire “taken down.”

As the Daily Wire reported, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi took note of the remark:

“This is domestic terrorism and now you have this congresswoman, Crockett, who is calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday,” Bondi said. “‘Let’s take him out on my birthday,’ she says. Yet she turns and says, ‘Oh, I’m not calling for violence.’”

“Well, she is an elected public official, and so she needs to tread very carefully, because nothing will happen to Elon Musk and we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this country,” she continued. “And it’s basic safety once again, domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop in our country.”

Bondi’s remarks come after Crockett said last week: “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE Oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.”

Bondi is not the only one who has called out the Texas Democrat’s politically charged rhetoric:

Another former member of the House of Representative’s leftist “Squad” is also in hot water for his anti-Musk commentary.

According to Breitbart:

Elon Musk threatened to sue former Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) after the ex-squad member called him a “nazi” and a “thief” during an appearance on CNN on Thursday.

“I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound,” Musk posted to X on Friday in response to Bowman’s televised roundtable discussion.

Bowman, who lost last July’s Democrat primary following a series of antisemitic controversies and a Capitol stunt resulting in his criminal conviction, told the panel of commentators that the “American people do not trust Elon Musk and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position.”

“And how do we know? Because they fired tens of thousands of people, it was challenged in court. The court said the people have to go back, and now the people are coming back. He’s incompetent, he’s a thief, he’s a Nazi, and people don’t trust him, period,” Bowman said.

Host Abby Phillip jumped in clarifying: “Former Congressman Bowman, I just have to say, just a second, I just have to say, your opinion about Elon Musk is your opinion about Elon Musk.”

Here’s a clip of Bondi’s recent comments:
