Scott Jennings has a tough gig at CNN, where he is often surrounded by far-left talking heads as he attempts to counter their Democratic Party talking points during on-air panel discussions.
This week, he confirmed that he’ll be kicking off a new project soon — and it should give him a little more freedom to express his political views without being shouted down by cable news hosts and guests.
According to the Daily Caller, Jennings will be hosting a new one-hour daily radio program for the Salem Radio Network, which is set to premiere on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Eastern:
“Really excited for this opportunity,” Jennings told the DCNF. “I started in radio as a kid – back in Western Kentucky and then as a news anchor on WHAS in Louisville. So radio is in my blood and am getting back to my roots. I idolized Rush and Paul Harvey. I’ll be looking to those memories for inspiration. The chance to do a daily monologue and bring on big names from politics and culture – it’s a true dream come true for me.”
“We’re going on offense,” Jennings said in the release. “Every day, I’ll take calls, interview big names and take the fight directly to the liberal machine. It’s time to bust the narratives and bring back some plain old common sense.”

Jennings’ ability to handle the slings and arrows of CNN’s other personalities has earned him a somewhat heroic reputation among many social media users:

Scott Jennings takes the right approach to the Trump/Elon engagement. He loves them both. And as long as they’re both on the side of helping America, then we’ll all be doing great.

Radio Online also reported on Jennings’ new venture:
The program will replace “The Jack Posobiec Show” in the SRN live broadcast schedule. Posobiec will continue to contribute exclusive podcast content through the Salem Podcast Network.
“Scott Jennings is a disruptor,” said Phil Boyce, Senior Vice President at Salem. “He’s the Lone Ranger of the CNN panel, armed with facts and fearless in delivery. He doesn’t just survive in hostile territory – he dominates. Now, with a national platform on Salem, Scott becomes a daily fixture in the battle to save the country.”
Jennings brings extensive political experience to the role. A former White House Special Assistant to President George W. Bush, he has worked on four presidential campaigns and is considered a seasoned Republican strategist.
