From The Daily Wire:

Over 100 children were rescued during the enforcement operation, 244 offenders were arrested by authorities, and 368 total charges were filed, both federal and state. The operation — which was jointly managed by the FBI Dallas Division, Dallas Police Department, Plano Police Department, Wylie Police Department, and Garland Police Department — also involved 165 search warrants and the seizure of 1,130 digital devices, an FBI spokesman shared.

“FBI leadership has made it crystal clear: If you harm children in America, there will be no place for you to hide,” FBI spokesman Ben Williamson told The Daily Wire. “The FBI will spare no effort to pursue you, find you, and bring you to justice.”

“We are proud of our Dallas teams and local partnerships in the region for once again delivering a successful operation and making American neighborhoods safer,” Williamson added.

FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth reports:

In Fort Worth, the FBI, assisted by the Fort Worth Police Department, arrested Michael Huffman. He has been charged with distributing and possessing child pornography, which included multiple images of an adult male engaging in a sex act with a female child.

According to Larson, when agents went to Huffman’s home to execute a search warrant, they found him sitting in his driveway with his laptop open with child pornography on display. By Huffman’s own admission, he’s been trading this material for years. He faces 20 years in prison.

“The numbers of offenders arrested, and children rescued in this operation are stunning. The numbers leave us breathless because, at some level, we understand that behind every statistic, every number, there is a child with dreams, aspirations, and the right to live a life free from sexual exploitation,” said Eastern District of Texas Acting U.S. Attorney Jay Combs. “We are committed to teaming with law enforcement to investigate and prosecute these cases with urgency and ferocity in order to protect our children.”

“Operation Soteria Shield was a massive team effort and a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we unite around one clear mission: protecting our kids and holding offenders accountable. I am proud that the Dallas Police Department is the lead agency for the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and am grateful for the many, many agencies who contributed to this successful operation,” said Dallas Police Chief Daniel C. Comeaux.
