House Republicans Call For Specific Action On COVID-19 Jab

Multiple congressional Republicans called for the experimental COVID-19 injections to be removed from the CDC’s recommended childhood immunization schedule.

“Today would be a great day to take the Covid vaccine off the childhood vaccine schedule. It’s been left on for far too long and parents are furious it’s still being forced on their children,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said.

“@SecKennedy not every member of congress is controlled by big pharma,” she added.

“Concur. The Covid shot should not be on the schedule,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) said.

According to previous reports, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering removing the COVID-19 jab from the childhood immunization schedule.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Considers Removal Of Vaccine From CDC Recommended Childhood Immunization Schedule, Report Says

From POLITICO:

Eliminating the vaccine from the CDC schedule would not bar kids from receiving it. But the change would represent an extraordinary intervention by Kennedy to override the agency’s scientific decision-making and reverse a recommendation backed by the CDC and a slate of independent advisers just three years ago.

The removal would also likely influence vaccination procedures across the nation. Pediatricians rely on the CDC schedule to determine which vaccines they should give children and when to administer them, in order to protect against a range of common infectious diseases.

The schedule is also closely watched by insurers in deciding which vaccines to cover, as well as states and localities that determine which vaccines schools require for students — though no states currently mandate the Covid shot.

The specifics of the removal are still under discussion and could change, said the two people, who were granted anonymity to discuss private deliberations.

Charlie Kirk asked U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary if the COVID-19 jabs would remain on the childhood schedule.

"I'd love to see the evidence to show that giving young, healthy children another COVID shot, a sixth COVID booster, would help them, but that evidence does not exist, and so we're not going to rubberstamp things at the FDA," Makary said.

"I don't think you're going to see a push at the CDC to be pushing COVID shots in young, healthy children. That is something that's being discussed right now. I think you're going to see some announcement on that in the coming weeks, but I know they are trying to review all of the scientific data," he continued.

"And guess what? There's no data. There's no good randomized control data that the current version, the latest formulation, of the COVID shot, is necessary for young, healthy children. Other countries have already recommended against it. Other leading countries in Europe have recommended against it for young, healthy children. So I think you're going to see a look at this, and you're going to hear something forthcoming," he added.
