Pope Leo XIV’s Brother Reveals His Stunning Link to Steve Bannon

Pope Leo XIV’s brother Lou — who, by the way, is about as MAGA as it gets — just spilled some very interesting details about his past.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Lou Prevost revealed that he served on the same Navy ship as Steve Bannon back in their service days.

“I keep trying to get him to come to our reunions, but I don’t get a response. He probably doesn’t remember me,” he said.

Steve Bannon recently criticized People Leo XIV, predicting that he will clash with President Trump.

Per Newsweek:

Speaking to the BBC, Bannon said Pope Leo’s election was “kind of jaw-dropping.”

“It is shocking to me that a guy could be selected to be the Pope that had had the Twitter feed and the statements he’s had against American senior politicians,” he said, adding that there’s “definitely going to be friction” between him and Trump.

He added that Trump would react if the Pope takes a stand against him. “Remember, President Trump was not shy about taking a shot at Pope Francis,” he said.

“So if this Pope – which he will do – tries to come between President Trump and his implementation of the mass deportation programme, I would stand by.”

Morgan asked Lou if he agrees with Bannon. The pope’s brother denied that Leo XIV would be as liberal as Pope Francis, though he noted that he probably won’t “roll back the changes that Francis made.”

Instead, Lou Prevost predicts that his brother will try to stay neutral and “find a way to go down the middle and not ruffle too many feathers.”
