President Trump said “Democrats have crossed the line” following Zohran Mamdani’s apparent victory in the Democrat primary for New York City’s mayoral election.

“It’s finally happened, the Democrats have crossed the line. Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor. We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous,” Trump said.

“He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart, he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him, and even our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, is groveling over him. Yes, this is a big moment in the History of our Country!” he added.

While a winner in the New York City mayoral primary hasn’t been officially declared due to the city’s ranked-choice ballot system, Mamdani had a substantial lead after the first round of votes was tabulated.

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), who was running in second place behind Mamdani, conceded on Tuesday night.

Mamdani will face New York City Mayor Eric Adams in the general election in November. Adams, who was embroiled in a corruption case that was ultimately dropped earlier this year, will be running as an independent in the general election.

“I have an idea for the Democrats to bring them back into ‘play.’ After years of being left out in the cold, including suffering one of the Greatest Losses in History, the 2024 Presidential Election, the Democrats should nominate Low IQ Candidate, Jasmine Crockett, for President, and AOC+3 should be, respectively, Vice President, and three High Level Members of the Cabinet – Added together with our future Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, and our Country is really SCREWED!” Trump said in another post.

However, November’s general election could prove extremely interesting, with Mamdani, Mayor Adams running as an independent, Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa, and Andrew Cuomo possibly running as an independent.

Republicans may see an opening to capture the mayoral seat in the Big Apple.

The political earthquake that rocked the nation’s most populous city may prove to be a gift for Republicans aiming to paint Democrats as extreme radicals ahead of next year’s midterm elections.

As democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old state assembly member from Queens who is originally from Uganda, was on his way to topping former three-term New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the rest of the large field in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary, Republicans pounced.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) was one of the first out of the gate to capitalize on the leftward lurch, firing off an email release that claimed, “the new face of the Democrat Party just dropped, and it’s straight out of a socialist nightmare.”

Aiming to tie House Democrats to Mamdani, NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella argued that “every vulnerable House Democrat will own him, and every Democrat running in a primary will fear him.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, a top ally of President Donald Trump who is seriously considering a run for Empire State governor next year, also pounced. Stefanik claimed that “a radical, Defund-the-Police, Communist, raging Antisemite will most likely win the New York City Democrat Mayoral primary.”
