Sen. Booker Still Trying To Whitewash Joe Biden’s Cognitive Impairment: ‘I Never Saw It’

Clearly keen on broadening his national profile, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) recently engaged in a record-breaking marathon speech that earned him some praise from fellow leftists — and scorn from those who saw it as a transparent publicity stunt.

Days later, he sat down for an interview during which the topic of Joe Biden’s legacy came up.

As the Daily Wire reported, Booker offered what many interpreted as a revisionist account of the cognitive decline Americans witnessed throughout Biden’s term in office:

“I don’t even know why that’s an issue,” Booker shook his head. He went on to say that he had spoken to Biden on the phone earlier that same day and “he sounded very compos mentis, he got very argumentative — not argumentative with me, but very fired up when he was talking with me. I don’t know, man.”

Booker continued in that same vein, insisting over Smith’s objections, “I never saw it. And he would call — this man would literally call me up to discuss policy. I’ve met no — I’ve met no president like him!”

In recent weeks, several books have been announced that will detail Biden’s decline as seen by insiders — in some cases, authored by people who helped to cover up that decline while Biden was still in office and even seeking a second term.

Biden’s cognitive issues were an open secret throughout his presidency, but even more details have surfaced since he left office:

According to the New York Post, GOP lawmakers are in the process of gathering even more evidence about what was going on behind the scenes during the Biden administration:

Former White House doctor Kevin O’Connor will be among those grilled by House Republicans for hiding President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline from the American public, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) told The Post.

“Dr. Kevin O’Connor will absolutely, positively be implicated in the cover-up of this. He is a massive, massive part,” said Jackson, a physician by trade who served in the White House Medical Unit under three presidents before being elected to Congress, where he now chairs the House Intelligence Committee’s subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations

“I guarantee you Kevin O’Connor has medical information that the American people don’t have,” Jackson went on. “He was probably putting President Biden on lots of medications that we have no clue of — in efforts to try to treat his cognitive decline.”

“I’ve known him for a long time; he’s part of the Biden family. He would do or say anything to cover up and protect that family, regardless of what it meant professionally for him,” he added. “This could not have been covered up without him — and Jill Biden — in particular.”

Here’s some additional coverage of the apparent cover-up:
