UPDATE: Suspect CHARGED For Brutal Murder Of Two Israeli Diplomats

The suspect who shot and killed two Israeli Embassy staffers outside the Capitol Jewish Museum has just been charged.

Surveillance footage caught 31-year-old Elias Rodriguez firing a gun at the couple, 38-year-old Yaron Lischinsky and 26-year-old Sarah Milgrim.

Now, he is facing multiple counts related to the callous murders of these two diplomats.

Reuters reported:

A Chicago-born man arrested as the lone suspect in the fatal shooting of two Israeli embassy employees in Washington was charged on Thursday in federal court with two counts of first-degree murder in a killing widely condemned as an act of antisemitism.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, is accused of opening fire on a group of people on Wednesday night as they left an event for young professionals and diplomats hosted by the American Jewish Committee, an advocacy group that fights antisemitism and supports Israel.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced:

Here’s the full video of the press release:

Rodriguez claimed he shot the two unarmed Israeli diplomats “for Palestine.”

New documents reveal the sick, depraved way this terrorist murdered his two victims.

Not only did he shoot them dead — he pumped at least 21 9mm bullets into them.

And, when Sarah Milgrim tried to crawl away, he kept following and shooting at her.

The newly filed charges filed against Elias Rodriguez expose the depravity and callousness of the murders. He didn’t just kill Sarah and Yaron- he made sure to finish them.

He followed Sarah as she crawled away in agony after he shot her. He followed her and shot her again. He shot her from the back. He executed her in cold blood.

He fired at least 21 9mm bullets at them. Thats how many cartridge casings were found.

And then he just jogged off.

From The New York Post:

The suspected terrorist who opened fire on two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, DC, unleashed nearly two dozen rounds at the soon-to-be-engaged couple — with victim Sarah Milgrim attempting to crawl away after collapsing to the ground, according to sources and court documents.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, was caught on surveillance footage firing several shots at Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and Milgrim, 26, before they both collapsed outside the Capital Jewish Museum late Wednesday, according to an arrest affidavit.

The Chicago native leaned over the bullet-riddled couple and continued firing, then followed Milgrim as she made a desperate attempt to escape, shooting her again, charging documents showed.

Rodriguez was seen reloading his weapon before opening fire on Milgrim once more.

Law enforcement sources told The Post the alleged maniac fired at least 21 shots during the cold-blooded killings, using a high-end German-designed H&K 9mm pistol – which he purchased years ago.

It is unclear how many times the victims were shot.

Judge Jeanine Pirro made it clear that the death penalty is on the table for Elias Rodriguez.
