Calvin Robinson says he was 'expelled' from UK Conservative party for 'supporting Tommy Robinson'

Old Catholic Priest Calvin Robinson said on X Friday that he had been "expelled" from the UK Conservative Party for "supporting Tommy Robinson," an international news reporter and activist who famously exposes Islamic violence around the world.

Calvin Robinson's post read: "I have just been expelled from the Conservative Party for 'associating with and openly supporting Tommy Robinson' And for posting tweets “likely to be viewed as anti-Muslim in nature.”

Tommy Robinson posted in response: "Not a bad thing, they are about to be obliterated in the election, they deserve everything coming there [sic] way. They betrayed their voters for globalist agendas"

The center-right UK Conservative Party, also known as the Tories, is the current governing party led by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Its members have been increasingly coming under fire in the months leading up to the UK snap election which will be held on July 4. In many ways, the right-wing of the UK have felt abandoned by the party as they adopt further centrist and left-leaning views on issues such as immigration.

Nigel Farage, a leading contender for Prime Minister come July, stated that there was "no difference" between the left-wing Labour Party and the Conservatives, adding that there was a "lack of debate" between the two, per BBC News

He called his Reform UK party the "brand new Conservative movement."
